Anyone know WHEN you can join the Frieza Force?

I made a new character because I couldn't get the achievement because yesterday I got no achievements and today I'm suddenly able to get them so anyone know how far I need to get so Appule will talk to me? I've done it once but obviously I didn't pay much attention on how to join. Do I need to beat a certain part of the main quest? (Currently in the Ginyu Force arc)

you unlock it when u get the quest to visit all the houses, like: hurcules house, friezas ship, capsal corp, ect. Then u have to talk to the drone on the platform, then talk to the Patroller with the icon over his head. After that u enter the ship in the center, talk to one of the Ginyu members with a question mark above them. Then after all that you will be part of the faction when the test is finished.

P.s. This Goes for any of the Factions, to unlock ur trasformation, u must join the faction that goes with ur character.

For me, I did the quest to visit all the major houses, but couldn't enter Freiza's Ship to join the Force. After doing, perhaps, 2 more Story Missions I returned to Freiza's Ship and was given a quest from one of the guys floating outside to give him an item. After I completed that I could enter the ship.
