Xenoverse 2 Audio problems
For some reason, i'm having issues with basic cutscenes, and whenever mid-fight when the characters speak.

The audio is horrendiously low. and I've checked my system, the game is on max volume, the audio settings are on max in game, SFX and music are perfectly fine, when my character does an attack? perfectly fine.

but the actual conversations are so low i can't hear a thing, even when trying to mute the music and SFX

is anyone else having this problem? cause its making it where i can't enjoy the story properly since i do like the english voices of the character, if i wanted to play a mute game, i'd play Dragonball Online again.

Dont know if someone mentioned this, but (in english) some times when someone speak, the mouth doesn't move and cant hear the voice. Another thing is that is not sincronized the voice and the mouth movement

I am getting the same thing. All music and SFX sound just overpowers the dialogue volume. I hope they fix this soon. There's really no point to the game if i can hear what they are saying. And it's super hard trying to read the subtitles and fight at the same time.

I've noticed that the audio quality for the English sound files seems to be all over the place. If you watch/listen to the intro with Trunks and the Time Kai it sounds like Trunks was recorded in a studio and the time Kai was recorded with an at home microphone.

I remember hearing that and thinking "Wtf? Why is the audio quality changing between characters?"

The Japanese audio track seems to be perfectly fine. I guess that's not really a surprise though. Usually the country of origin is better about those sort of things.

Update: the patch released has given me Goku Black, and the Tao pole, however audio is stull muffled as hell.

On top of this, when i go to a PQ to just test, ironically enough Goku Black's the only character in the character select screen who's audio is fine. everyone else is muttled, how the hell did they let this slide.

I also have the same problem. I couldn't find anything on the problem on the 27th when the game released, and I refuse to play it until the problem is fixed, which will probably be no time soon unless someone finds some sort of fix.

Also seems like a very small part of the playerbase is experiencing the issue so it's probably not getting noticed.

I hope that nov 1st patch helps, but Im not not sure, the post the dev made makes me think maybe not?

Well this is on the main steam page for the game, and it all links to the community guide, which this audio problem is in. My friend tells me he can hear the voices but everything is so loud he has to use his volume mixer to fix the problem.

"Please report your issues in the dedicated community thread if they are not included in it, including as many details as you can to reproduce the issue."

i mean, whats there to say, I booted the game, and everything past the Intro is so low

I may have fixed my problem. I just switched my Realtek HD Audio Manager to stereo instead of 5.1 speaker, and now I can hear the voices when I switch my voice audio.
