Purification Build?
So with Purification getting a major buff this update I wanted to give it a whirl myself, but I'm unsure how to go about it because I've never really touched Majins aside to unlock their Awoken for the Achievement. Anyone got any builds?

With my thin majin, 125 points in ki blasts and a +5 to ki blasts on my QQB, a single Vanishing Ball hits for _6202_ damage, without super soul modifiers or other buffs. That's your main damage dealer in Purify right now, until it's either nerfed or the other moves get buffed. To put into perspective, just two adds up to 12404 damage, surpassing Teleporting Vanishing Ball and being more cost-effective than Super Vanishing Ball.

Some souls I would recommend are Eehee Hee Hee Hee! for being a Purify-specific soul that adds plenty of bells and whistles (Extra basic damage, Ki auto-recovery, and damage reduction.), but leaves your supers untouched.

For Ki Blasters, Begin The Experiment (Fu's soul) is an excellent choice due to both its ki auto-recovery and chunky boost to ki blast supers; and best of all if you take too much damage and fall out of the ki regen range? You can just use Quick Sleep to put yourself back into it.

and for an unorthodox pick, you could also try Justice is Nothing (GoD Toppo's Soul). It boosts all attacks at the same rate as Fu's soul, not just ki blasts, and reduces damage you take. I just did some testing in training and sadly, the (M) boost to stamina recovery does not seem to apply to Purify's omni-recovery rating. It must be based on regular stamina regeneration and Purify is a modifier.

However, the soul says it stops you from blocking. This is true. However, Purify's boogie-bend apparently is not a 'block'. You can still use it even when the soul is in effect.

Just some things I thought of off the top of my head.

Hm, it's pretty straightforward. Use the hee hee hee or whatever super soul it's called, the one that boosts purification.

Other than that it's really up to your discretion. Since purification comes with its own skills you don't have to worry about that. I generally prefer female majins since they're stronger, but male ones have higher health which might be a potent combo w the increased damage.

You'd probably want a good dps distribution, since the form excels at all forms of attacking.

Male Majins have great health and they have equal proficiency in Strike and Ki Blast supers, and since the Purification form uses both, it's a good idea to have a medium-weight male Majin with maximum health if you're gonna use Purification. However, they lose their inherent damage reduction when using the form; the Ehee hee hee super soul provides an equivalent amount of damage reduction, but it doesn't stack with what male Majins would ordinarily have. I don't know if this is a bug or intentional. Additionally, while it's very difficult to run out of stamina in Purification since the update, it's still possible and if you get to low health as a male Majin in Purification, you still have to deal with the double damage.

Female Majins might be the better choice; they'll get the damage reduction of Ehee hee hee and their already-high basic attack will be further boosted by that super soul. Their Strike damage is the highest in the game and that will make Purification's Pearl Flash and Angry Shout much stronger. However, both ultimates in Purification are Ki moves and female Majins have horrible Ki damage; this is not to mention that, generally, female Majins are better suited to just using Potential Unleashed or even Kaioken, since broken stamina isn't quite the problem with them.

In short, if you go for Purification then it should be because you specifically really like that form since it doesn't offer any advantages to Majins that Potential Unleashed or Kaioken don't already offer. To that end I would use a male Majin instead of female since male Majins don't have much going for them anyway.

Alright thanks. :)

Wow very nice. So besides the 125 in Ki Blast, what other stats should I invest in? Also I guess base form movepool doesn't matter?

Generally, the way I view it- and this is first and foremost related to QQBs, your priorities generally should be Stamina > Ki > Ki Blast > Basics > Strikes > HP. (In, of course, a purify context.)

Your default skill list doesn't matter any more now that you can't permanently stack buffs with Excellent Full Course, so yeah. Your baseline kit doesn't particularly matter outside of an energy charge skill so you can get into the form sooner. Given, this is in a PvE perspective; I don't really try to use Purify much in PvP due to how its jank works. I'm sure there's a viability to it somewhere but I don't feel comfortable trying.

Bottom line, HP is a bit of a dump stat when it comes to per-point value. Go ahead and put some points into it if you want to be a bit beefier, but HP is really only important for Male Majins and Namekians.

Okay I think I have an idea on how to do this. Thanks a ton. :)
