They could always go the BT3 route and have characters that can't fly slowly sink towards the ground...honestly, Roshi and the Dragon Ball cast SHOULD be in the game.
That could be a super soul that they're included with.
I was visibly upset when the GT content came out for XV1. I really dislike Gohan/Kid Goku's new voice. You could make the argument that new Gohan sounds like an actual kid, or whatever, but they are really bad at voicing emotion. On the other hand, Stephanie was perfect as Goku, and her not being present in XV1 was really disheartening. Maybe she's no longer involved with Okatron.
Just give the GT Goku without tail the nimbus transformation instead of SSJ, that would be a nice alternative to having Kid Goku.
Tao Pai Pai could be on his black nimbus when he flies (animation of the nimbus coming under his feet when he flies).
Chiaozu can fly anyway.
As much as I'd like to see more DB content, the problem is that it doesn't sell.
Stephanie was never a good fit for Kid Goku. You see, Gohan as a kid is whiney, scared, unconfident, etc, and his (English) voice reflected that. The problem is that whoever it was in charge thought it was a good idea to have her do the same voice for Kid Goku who isn't remotely similar in his personality. Goku is an aloof doofiss hillbilly with a heart of gold and his character is very comedic, especially in Dragon Ball, but when paired with Stephanie's voice there is no comedy to the character. The jokes don't come off as jokes and the show suffers for it.
Really what they should've done was had Sean Schemmel read Kid Goku's lines the same way he portrays (Adult) Goku and then have the sound engineers pitch his voice higher to make it sound more child like.
The consistency between the kid to adult voices has always been terrible in the dubs. Stephanie's voice for Kid Goku/Gohan in no way matches up with their adult portrayls by Sean and Kyle Hebert. Same goes for Trunks and Kid Trunks. In the Japanese version it's not really a problem as the same actors voice the characters at different ages.
Over the years consistency has been a huge problem for the dub to the point where I eventually found it easier to enjoy the Japanese version as it doesn't suffer from a lot of the problems the English version has had to endure (actors changing, censoring, script quality, etc)

But then other times, like for example the Bojack movie, either her voice or her voice director brought her down to this gravely cold sounding thing. So she's not perfect, but she's better than Colleen's interpretation.
I natrually have a distaste for Colleen though. They also replaced the original voice for 18 in Kai with Colleen being a generic anime girl. Then in Battle of Gods they immediately changed it right back to what it was supposed to be. Any time I hear her do anything, all I hear is Luffy.
Kyle is one thing given that he was cast as Gohan long afterwards and given they knew long beforehand that there would be an older Gohan.
With Sean/Goku though she was cast as Kid Goku simply because she did Kid Gohan's voice, and that was long after Sean had been doing Goku as an adult.
To cast her as Kid Goku just because she was Kid Gohan never made any sense. It's not like she was Kid Goku first then Sean was Adult Goku then she went back to Kid Goku for GT. GT was her first time voicing Kid Goku due to the messy nature of how the English dub was handled over the years.
I also never understood why FUNimation ditched the Ocean Group actors halfway into the Namek Saga in favor of casting local acting talent in Texas who then had to try and voice match the Ocean Group actors. That never made any sense to me. FUNimation claims the reason for the switch was because their old offices were closer to the Ocean Group actors and that after they moved to Texas they decided that the actors were too far away and needed ones that were closer, but VO can be directed over the phone. It's not like the Ocean Group actors would've needed to all fly down to Texas. If anyone was going to need to fly anywhere it would've/should've been the VO director (Chris Sabat)
It shoundj like you're shaying Shon Goku.
Remembering back then internet was garbage and Funimation was competeing with a dozen other localization companies (who they would later destroy in the market) and the fact that back then they had no money, it's just what small businesses would have done in that scenario. If you can find Funi dub DBZ non remastered, Chris straight up tries to emulate Bryan Drummond Vegeta. Meanwhile Sean is just sitting there trying to figure out what voice acting even is.
It's also the same reason why the Bruce Faulconer score exists. From what I gathered, not only did they want to localize the show, but it was also actually easier to hire the guy down the street to compose new music for them than it was to license the rights to the original score. That said, I really can't say I would complain if they got Scott Mcneal to repreise his roles (Burter, Jeice, Piccolo) from the Ocean dub. I heard early on they tried to rehire Ocean's Ginyu, but something didn't pan out so they got someone that sounded similar.

All that said, I think Nadolny's Goku performance is more solid than her Gohan stuff. And me personally, transitioning from Nadolnly to Sean when rewatching ODB, the transition wasn't that bad. I never got the feeling she was out of place. They use alot of the same inflection and ways of saying things. It felt natural to me at the time.
While we're on the subject of voice actors and business stuff, can we at least agree that something needs to be done about Trunks? Either he or Chris are trying WAY too hard to make him sound like Vegeta, and it's really making him sound bad in recent performances. Even here in XV2 when they redo Trunks first transformation, they don't filter his voice, or have him perform it more smoothly or anything. Just straight up 30 year old grunge. I don't want him to be replaced for Super, but they REALLY need to iron out whatever's going on with him lately.
*cough* Mr Satan/Hercule *cough*
He's had a jetpack since Budokai 1. It's actually in his character to have one. I don't imagine Roshi with one.
Then again, thanks for acknowledging my comment. No one saw it ><
Yeah, I don't imagine Master Roshi with a jetpack either :D (and your post was thought out :) )
I just find it kinda ironic for Dimps to say they won't add any character who can't fly, when they already have two (Jaco uses jet boots)
