I wouldn't get your hopes up about free DLC. I doubt we'll be getting much of anything for free other than Raid or Event prizes.

Which is more likely for this company? Giving us free DLC moves or giving us paid DLC moves? I have the season pass regardless so I couldn't care less either way. But I really doubt we get free DLC moves.

If we do get free DLC, it'll be minor costume pieces like Zenoverse 1 got. We got a wig and 3 costume sets. There's no way they're going to give out free moves or characters. That's a fantasy. The most you might see is a move tied to a Raid but we're most likely only getting recolorable costumes for those.

I have the season pass as well, but a free update means it'll come sooner than DLC 1. It also means they'll give us updates and patches regularly, which is why I'm hoping for a free update.

But the fact that in the first game Mira and Towa were DLC (Mira, at least, was CLEARLY IN THE GAME) doesn't give me much hope, but I like to believe.

It wouldn't surprise me if the final boss was in a DLC.
