There is a group in town with the title. They have ? over them and keep telling me to I can join if I show them a pose. I do everything I have and they keep telling me no. What am I missing?

You need to get the "Ginyu Force: Ginyu" pose from Taino. Which requires the "Hercule!!" pose from the man himself; use the default Applause pose to get that.

The reward, though, is just another pose.
