Freezes on loading screen

As the title says. Whenever I get into the game and pick my character, and get on the white loading screen, the game just freezes and takes forever to stop freezing. I can still hear the music going on and when the freezing stops I either get kicked out the game because of a network error or I get a message saying that I lost connection to the xenoverse server. This is most common on getting into conton city, but also happens with any other time the game has to load something.

Is anyone else getting this problem or is it just me?

i had this problem aswell and sometimes i got kicked out of expert mission when loading took a little to long but i dont know how to actually fix it.

Wha i did today was reinstalling windows on my pc since i havent done this for a long time and now the issues gone for me. so maybe there was to much stuff on my harddisk that made it freeze or idk :x

I don't think I have this problem because my hard disk isn't full at all. This only started happening after the fix for preorder dlc

I get this randomly sometimes too. Especially when trying to get into multi lobby. I get kicked and it says xenoverse 2 servers are down even though I know its not cause a freind is on it and each time I try to log back in afterwards the game crashes at loading screen.

Nothing changed.

I had this issue to and my solution was to just change the framerate option
Instead of variable, I switched to 60

Of course this might not work for others, or works the opposite way, I saw someone mention changing to variable fixed it for them

Didn´t work for me. I had my fps fixed at 60 then I changed to variable but the problem still persists

Maybe in the next pacth they fix this, together with the other millions of bugs

Hopefully, it's not too big of a deal right now but it gets annoying when I have to wait 6 minutes for to actually get into the actual game.

Has this been resolved, bought this game today and installed and having similar problems.

I can get to the initial custom character select screen,watch the opening video then it gets stuck on the loading on the white loading screen.

Sometimes I get passed the white loading screen and can do the first missing (fighting
Raditz) but then it gets stuck in the loading screen after I beat him!

Extremely frustrated!

Nope have not found a fix for this yet, at this point I've accepted it as part of the game and it probably will not fixed either. Sorry about that.

after i installed mods, it seems that's when it started doing this. Before it worked fine.

I have this as well, it usually freezes for sometimes over half a minute for me whenever the game is supposed to load up something on the screen, and like you wrote, it sometimes kicks me out if the freeze is too long.

Nope, this happened after the pre-order bonus fix, before the loading was just fine.
