Official Energy Zone Awareness Thread
Brazen, fiery people of Xenoverse 2 and the DB world, allow me to open with a statement that concerns us all:

Sometimes you just get hit in the face

And it hurts. A lot. Some more than others, but the points is there. I think we can all agree that items are a wonderful boon and help alleviate the dangers of tackling harder PQs or teaming with a lowrer level friend.

But I would like to make you aware of something:

A skill exists in the game that allows a player to heal his or her teammaes. Said skill is known as Energy Zone, and it constructs a pillar of strong, rapid health regeneration that is nearly unrivaled, even against regen items. So when you see a large pillar of energy that doesn't look like some steroided hairband's attempt to flay your body, just remmeber to step on inside and enjoy the free HP.

So please, if you see Energy Zone: make use of it! Take the edge off and restore HP before it becomes an issue and without wasting zeni on healing items (so that you can endlessly farm that QQ bang that you want instead). And I know not every patroller carries this skill with them (or even picks their CC) but do take advantage! I know I enjoy watching my teammates' health bars refill.

I was thinking about making a support char but im not sure if its worth the trouble :(

Its a horrible skill though, it only regenerates 15% of a health bar and can very easily be broken by the COM

I knew I wasn't crazy and saw a skill that healed haha. I couldn't find it last night, I guess I saw it in the shop and didn't buy it.

Hercules Savior skill is a good support one too if you're good at blocking/dodging. Attract all enemies to you and I assume if you z-dash your ass off should keep them busy.

Regenerates more than 15% over the full duration. Closer to 30

I went support. Meteor Crash and Punisher Drive can do wonders for letting your teammate land supers. Plus I just don't care for many ults in this game, so EZ fit in my kit

Would freezing ray be good on a support build?

It can be, same for the rest of Eis' skills EXCEPT the Ult. It can NEVER land, even with a break. I just use Punisher and Meteor since I'm strike, but I remember using Ice Claw in 1 to reset chains and it seems to do that in 2. Beam works the same but it's slower so you need to time it

People underestimate how useful the Herc skills can be. Would've been great if you could get them in 1 where the AI had crazy super armor. In 2 it's not as amazing, but it's still damn nice in both PVE and PVP.
