I can't tell if you're being serious or not, but you can't just throw around ults and expect it to work. You also can't just stamina break into an ult unless it's one of the few that you can.
I can't relate to any of this caus' I haven't lost to anything but evil Yamcha. I almost lost to Vegeta, but I didn't notice anything unuesual.
But he crouches down and takes it all in the face without moving, hits me once and I break out of it and all my stamina is gone and recharging from red.
They stamina break very much faster than the player.
They can stamina break while in a aura dash (had this happen to me not once but twice, first time by Yamcha supervillain I was about to dash over to him when he dashed behind me and broke my stamina before he was even finish dashing, second time was Whis who dash from the other side of the map to break my stamina before he stopped dashing as well. Neither time was I using a ultimate or even a super for that).
They can lock on from a greater distance than you can.
They regenerate stamina faster than you can.
Also gitgud kid.
1: Stamina Regen Buff: This is probably the thing that furstraits me the most they regen stamina in combat at a super fast rate.
2: Auto Guard: not sure how else to explain it but the AI will block/guard almost any super/ult if they are not staggered or stamina broke. I am not just talking the blatent throw an ult from space and expect it to land kind of deal. I've combo'd them into an ult and watched them take several hits and then BLOCK your ult hit an example: Serious bomb has a nasty uppercut as its initial hit, if that uppercut lands it prevents any and all blocking or defense for several seconds allowing the deathball to deal damage. However i am noticing that the AI will almost hilariously get combo'd and then block the uppercut and punish you right after. This is IMPOSSIBLE for an actual player to pull off! you cant not block mid combo once you are staggered you are locked in with out a vanish but the AI is not vanishing, they are blocking!
My advice get mystic flash and abuse the ♥♥♥♥ out of it, the AI is not smart enough to realize you are going to blast behind you. Will often try to do there whip around attack on you only to run face into your blast. I have obliterated countless AI's using this...
So yes the AI is still cheating but its not nearly as bad as it was in 1.
2. That's a feature, not a "cheat". You can do that too when the AI tries to cast an ultimate. Use the new dash (lvl. 2 where you fly behind your opponent) and kick them out of their ultimate, that will break their stamina too.
They do have a faster stamina regen I find though.
They will and do punish you for ult spamming but now that i don't spam ult's at range i find i dont get broken as much unless as i stated above, i try serious bomb mid combo and they somehow block it... once you understand what triggers certain effects you can prevent them.
1: if you do an Ultimate and the AI has more then 2 bars of stamina, and can move around, they are going to break your ult, only do ult's if the AI is stamina broke, or staggered in some way. Ult's that can be comobo'd into are the best in this game, ultimates like super nova HAVE to be used during a stamina break!
2: if you vanish during a jar or short animation they will ALWAYS and i mean ALWAYS do A back hit, i struggled with back hits for ages but i am starting to break my habit of just vanishing all willy nilly and waiting for longer animations.
3: if you start a combo on 3 or 4th hit they will about 50% of the time vanish, if you have mystic flash its a good tactic if you can get the timing down to pop it just as they vanish and punish them for it.
The AI is difficult but they are also programed to do something in reaction to what you do... and that can be used to punish them 100% of the time.
Edit: and no i've seen some cheesing at higher levels they definatly have some kind of auto guard going on allowing them to stop ult's even if they are in a stagger animation. Or watching a punch connect and deal no damage like they arent there. Seen a few either buggy or weird glitches on some of the high level enemies when using certain attacks. But that might be linked more to the attack then the AI themselves.
definatly not, but i wouldn't mind a difficulty setting in the options menu to tone the AI down i mean its like playing SF4 on max difficulty lol, its fine for people that are super good (and i'm ok playing at current level) but some people just want a nice casual experience with out getting wrecked by everything they come accross. I think a difficulty option would be ideal.
