And buu's name is part of a "magic spell"
Also in 1 i made a namek with a goku wig and named him brian
That just the Buu villains naming theme. Though for Buu's case, it is an onomatopoeia. Use that as a rule of thumb regarding Majins.
Though I do side with the general consensus that the Frieza clan name is cold themed.
Saiyan names are vegetables as you've mentioned.
Not sure of the pattern for Namekian names, but in Dragonball they were named after musical instruments. Some aren't though.
Frieza Race names are usually after cold things e.g. Frieza, Cooler, Chilled etc.
Don't think Majin really have any patterns to their names - Buu was called Buu after the saying Bippidi-Boppidy-Boo (Babidi was the 'Boppidy' part). A lot of people seem to name them after foods or have names ending in -uu or -oo though - I think female ones would be named after how they look as Buu created them after the images he saw in Mr Satan's 'adult' magazines, so maybe names like 'bouncy' or something like that.
funny thing: Mr. Satan real name is Hercule soooooo :P.
Well i have no idea what would be good Cold related name... Demiurge just popped in my head how my Frieza-clan member looked xDD... very hilarious really.
And oh okay cuz i was thinking what are majin names related... So if its spell related which is "bippidi-boppidy-boo" is a spell so what spell woudl be for cupcakes? :P
Mr. Satan's name was changed to Hercule in the English dubs so it wouldn't frighten children and conservative Americans :)
So like, Hocus-Pocus and Abra-Cadabra could be Majin names I guess.
I think that's just for Buu, I mean, pretty sure Babidi isn't a majin.
they have the most freedom as there are no examples other than buu.
Actually his name is Hercule in japanese anime too just saying :P.
btw: Sugoroku, ichigo, Buillon,Hashigo, Sanma, niboshi are names majins that you get form majin buu quest so it seems their names are themed about desserts mostly. except Sanma which is from spasific saury.
Hashigo is korean kitchen.
So what i can imagine about buu names they are mostly around desserts, main dishes or somekind restaurant part names but i am not sure. there might be something else in them but nobody have figured out yet maybe.
http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Mr._Satan
'Mr. Satan (ミスター・サタン, Misutā Satan; lit. "Mister Satan"), also known as Hercule in the FUNimation dub television broadcast,'
It's ok to be wrong sometimes. Nobody will think less of you. Just saying :P
hehe but According to Toriyama, Mr. Satan’s actual first name is “Mark” but not sure but Mr. Satan is only his ring/show name which has been told in anime few times :P
so read this part: Toriyama mentions that Mister Satan is just the character's ring name reminiscent of that of a pro grappler and that his real name is Mark (マーク, Maaku)
