Combo extention and fancy tricks
I was doing all of elder kai's tutorials on things like knockback attacks, guard crushes, and perfect guards, and I got to the end where it tought you ways to extend your combo.

These involved doing the Y+B meteor smash, then hitting Forward+A to dash behind, and then Forward+X to do a guard crush that puts your enemy into a stun state.

The timing on this is freaking ROUGH. is it because I'm the smallest character model size fighting Krillin, the smallest of the normal fighters? It seems like 70% of the time I whiff because he recovers too quick or it just doesn't connect.

If I could land it, it seems pretty useful, because the Forward+A Dash to catch up to someone you've smashed with Y+B Doesn't seem to use up any stamina, not that I recall (maybe it was because I was in this training mode)

What do you guys do to extend combos?

What do you guys do to set up enemies to be hit by ultimates. According to the tutorial, hitting an enemy with a guard crush followed by Y+B STRAIGHT into your ultimate practically guarantees they get hit by it (provided it has the range to hit)

Yeah, it took me forever to do because for some reason the game doesn't like reading my input for Forward+A dash, and it REALLY doesn't like to connect Forward+X guard crush after that. Took me about 45 minutes

I kind of give up way earlier than you, I am on training 4 with Piccolo where he teaches you the Y+B, A, X, Y+B, forward+A, Y+B combo. I was never able to connect the last Y+B, or I end up kicking the air, or Piccolo recover out of the combo, I don't see how to do it better, I tried for the last 20 minutes and it always end up missing.

Perfect timing is required for those combos. This games easy to play but hard to master that's for sure.

Easiest way to connect the combos is to stamina break your instructor first and time it for the next break.
