So I have Future SSJ, SSJ, Super Vegeta, Kaioken, and Potential Unleashed. Which is the strongest?

SSJ for basic strikes and strike ultimates. Super Vegeta for ki supers and ultimates. Future for ki regeneration, strike/ki ultimates (average buff). Kaioken for basic strikes and average strike/ki ultimates. Potential unleashed for average, rounded buffs.

It really is down to your preferences and what you are trying to do, honestly.

Super 3 punches hardest and has the most damage resistance, but it's ki gain penalties are horrible.
Super Vegeta caps out at Super 2, but has the best Ki blast bonus.
Future Super is basically Super 1 without the Ki penalties, but without the Damage resists either.

Potential is very good, even though it needs 5 ki bars to turn on. It's slightly under Super Vegeta for Ki damage, though 5% less for punching than Super 3.

However it has no damage resistance, and for a Saiyan none of the mini teleports on attacks are added (everyone talks about charged ki attacks, but for me the big deal is the mini teleport on basic melee openers).

Kaioken needs more managment to get mileage out of it. X20 mode is really strong if you take advantage of your infinite teleports in teh duration, but you are still draining stamina and both AI and players can be smart enough to just send you into stamina break. (It's the real deal for simply punching people to death, though, while it lasts).

Straight up damage percentage statistics are good, but how things feel in practice matters a lot.

I was expecting to use Super Vegeta the most for the better ki damage boost. But in the end I've desired the damage resistance upgrade of being able to turn Super 3 when things get rough.

Then I was expecting to love potential unleashed the most because it has great damage buffs and no ki penalties. But I was missing the mini teleports on my melee openers that being even just Super Saiyan One gives you.

With Kaioken, you have three levels:
--Level 1 (100 Ki): Tiny ATK boost with stamina draining slowly.
--Level 2 (x3) (300 Ki): A little more damage, vanishing is cheaper, and stamina drains faster.
--Level 3 (x20) (500 Ki): Even more damage, vanishing is free, and stamina drains the fastest.

With Potential Unleashed (500 Ki): A good increase in overall damage (like it's SSJ 2 and Super Vegeta 2 combined) and Ki recovers faster.

Super Saiyan:
--Level 1 (300 Ki): An increase in melee damage, but a slight increase in Ki blast. Recovers Ki slower.
--Level 2 (400 Ki): More melee damage and slightly more Ki blast damage. Recovers Ki even slower.
--Level 3 (500 Ki): Does the most melee damage, plus another slight increase in Ki Blast damage. No Ki recovery from punching at all.

Super Vegeta:
--Level 1: A slight increase in melee damage and a good increase in Ki blast. RecoversKi slower.
--Level 2: Another slight increase in melee damage, but does the most Ki blast damage. Recovers Ki even slower.

Future Super Saiyan: An increase in damage and Ki recovers faster. (though, I don't think it's as good as Potential Unleashed)

All super saiyans give you a little longer melee reach (when you punch the air, your character teleports forward instead of a normal dash).

Overall, it depends on how you play. If you like to punch things a lot, go with Super Saiyan. If you like to fire ki blast attacks, go with Super Vegeta. If you're someone who likes to build ki pretty fast, either use Future Super Saiyan or Potential Unleashed (though, I prefer the latter). If you like to vanish a lot, use Kaioken, but take precautions (stamina in XV2 isn't as OP as it was in XV1).

As far as melee damage, from best to worst:
--Super Saiyan
--Potential Unleashed
--Kaioken
--Future Super Saiyan / Super Vegeta (haven't tested this comparison)

As for Ki Blast damage:
--Super Vegeta
--Potential Unleashed
--Super Saiyan
--Kaioken / Future Super Saiyan (haven't tested this comparison)

For Ki recovery:
--Potential Unleashed
--Future Super Saiyan
--Kaioken
--Super Vegeta
--Super Saiyan
