GIT GUD!
Well, now that I have your attention, I'm referring to myself.

So I cheesed myself through the majority of the expert missions with a ki blast saiyan (good ol Big Bang Kamehameha), I now wanted to max his level, unlock all PQ-skills etc. and at PQ 79 I have 2 time 3 time patrollers to defeat (yay, more dragonballs) got a few rounds of farming and decided to swap to a different stat-setup, not focussing ki blasts, not minmaxing, having some fun, challenging myself and boy oh boy, do I suck!

How can I unsuck myself? I can't blame the AI for it entirely (aside from getting unlucky, 2 timesoldiers pulled of a freaking double-move!), but there are a few things that make me wonder:

* Following scenario: enemy combos me, I wanna sacrifice 2 stamina bars to do that teleport-thingy, but they backattack almost instantly. No chance to block, attack or do basically anything, he just keeps comboing. For what scenario should I save that? What should I do to stop myself from being pinballed to death?

* How to deal with 2 AI's ganging up on me? (help from allies not coming)

* What are some cool supermoves, that aren't a variation of a Kamehameha? Maybe a fancy melee attack or so?

Thanks for any help. :D

Edit: Also how do I make my allies stay alive long enough for me to help them? They get through the first fight with like 10% of their life and while the monkeys aren't a problem this will be a problem with the second timepatroller group...

1. get good for real, or use an evasive move.

2. same as 1.

3. Divine wrath: purification is the best 300 ki blast ultimate, fast, big area of impact, great damage, only downside is if you fail you will be stuck in place until the move disappear, justice combination is the only good melee Ultimate attack nuff said.

- Enemy keeping on comboing you by backhitting:
It's a bit of an art to prevent getting hit by a backhit. The general rules are to not be too obvious in terms of vanishing, to vanish at points where it matters most (unless you want to burn Stamina) and, after vanishing, to stay ready for the reaction. You can guard right after a vanish, step, or even attack if you think the enemy won't backhit.
If a guard doesn't work, chances are their backhit was timed. In that case, mix up your vanishes or use an evasive if you ABSOLUTELY have to.

- 2 AIs ganging up on you:
This is a tough one. Know your combos; if you have a way to dash during your combo and stay mobile, you can lower the damage you take simply by being hard to hit. If you can, stamina break one enemy (within reason; don't go stamina breaking with the AI having 2 or more Stamina) and blow them away. Focus on the other immediately. This isn't foolproof, however.

- Cool Super Moves:
Welp. Depends on your preference (Ki Blast or Strikes). x) I assume you love Ki Blasts.
If you want raw damage, your best bets as Ultimates are Meteor Burst (I believe that's the name), Divine Wrath: Purification, Supernova Cooler and Angry Explosion.
If you literally mean Super Moves, Perfect Shot can be fearsome to use. Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack is a godsend if you know to use it, and skills like Vanishing Ball can help with damage.
Try to find a fast Ki Blast and a strong one for different scenarios if you're shooting for efficiency. An example would be...

Death Slash (Quick Attack to keep enemies off of your face) or Death Beam (Quick Poke, leads into combos if you only use one)
Perfect Shot / Vanishing Ball after a strong Knockback (pure damage)
Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack (To put something out there that makes it hard to attack you)
Phantom Fist / any counter (to, well, counter.)

There's many more supers that can fit into one of those categories: Quick Attacks, Strong Finishers, Utility and (Pseudo-)Counter. Try to find a skill for each one of those and stick to those to have a tool ready for anything.

Edit:
I beg to differ about Justice Combination being the only good Strike Ult. Wasting 3 Ki for 5k - 7k Damage and being open to attacks isn't optimal, unless you use it during a Stamina Break or under 2 Stamina. In both cases: Instant Severance and Victory Rush can potentially do more DPS. Darkness Rush is a powerful grab that can catch someone unaware (and suffers the same issue as JC, just harder: last hit can be avoided when not broken. JC requires 2 Stamina). Sword of Hope if you can outsmart your enemy. Frieza's Meteor-Throwing Ult is actually strong too, just requires a bit of thinking and is pretty much your saving grace as a Striker in Raids / Experts.

To not add TOO much, if you want to deal with the AI better, hit training mode and practice against various opponents in their Strong and Super Strong difficulties. For PQs, Goku is usually one of the cheesiest AI opponents you will ever face, so practice with him. Learn to sidestep and perfect blocking instead of any stamina burning mechanics as well.

Oh, and of course, learn your character's way of stamina breaking opponents and his max damage combos.

Most of this practice takes time until you can set things into muscle memory. So practice practice practice!

If Ai is ganging up on you, you need to do knockback combos (light heavy or the knockback move (Heavy and ki blast move at the same time) ) and to git gud you must only go into pqs with a single character and adapt to the difficult situations

The point at which I started learning how to fight w/o just spamming skills was when I had to do Hit's 4th training with my 0 basic attack 0 super attack and -10 to both from QQ bangs energy glass cannon cac. Since you have no good moves(if you haven't practiced them before) you're forced to adapt. I lost over 20 times to him that first time, BUT I feel is that I became much better at the basic stuff from the fights. When I got to him again on another char he way easy. I suggest trieing that as a fast way to get better vs AI. Versus players, everything comes with experience and a lot of losing.
Just remember that there are always cheaters and players who are better than you and don't mind the losses. Just try to adapt. Over time you'll get better or even good. I give myself a 4/10 right now, so you know that the skill sealing is very high, but even good players sometimes fall to unexpected things and moves.
