How to disable EAC?

I know I can use the .exe from the bin folder, but I want to use Infinity for the medals and when I start the game with Infinity it says something like: EAC must be disabled to work, and it won't start the game. Please don't judge. I want to play the way I want to play. So if anyone knows how to do it please share the info. Thanks.

The only way to play the game with any input from outside programs is to run it directly from the dbxv2.exe in the bin folder, this will not load the EAC at all, for aded measure you can remove the easyanticheat_x64.dll from the EAC folder to anywhere else on your computer, this will lock you to offline mod and will make jsut he base loader for eac run, which will prevent outside program input. No idea what Infinity is so can't help you with that.

Running DBXV2.exe from the bin as Administrator could also help.

My DBXV2.exe folder doesn't work. It says "This version of the patcher doesn't support this version of the game". Should I re-install everything?

You likely need to wait for Eternity to update the patcher. The patcher always needs an update when the game updates.

Does the bypass still work?

It's on a pretty big sale right now, and I gave my Switch to the kids, so I was considering replacing this game on PC.

Not with spyware in it, though.

I'm not running any other software tied to the game, just the game itself, so I don't need compatibility with mods or cheats as I just want the campaign and local multiplayer.

If I remove the dll files and alter the config, as stated multiple places, will the game still launch and play only locking me out of the online portions?
