I've been messing around with ReShade since the game releaded trying to get the results I want tweaking various things. Love that it exists and how much of a difference it can make at times.

This mod somehow corrupted my gamesave for XV1 that I worked months to 100% and it ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up several skills and transformations. Couldn't get it back and had to start over from the beginning. Never again will I use this mod.

ReShade isn't a mod it's just a filter really.

What you're suggesting would be like saying Instagram corrupted a photo on your phone.

ReShade can't touch the game's files in the capacity you're talking about.

no. it didnt. shut your hole you scum.
also, why BOTHER downloading your preset? reshade is effortless to use, and you dont bother stating what effects youre using, system hardware, and if it causes any issues with the game (like you know it does.).

tl;dr dont use reshade. youll be infuriated before long by all the graphical bugs that appear in this and a handful of other games when using it.

all "re-shades" that I've seen are super ugly. Don't know why anyone would ever install them. o.O

You need to look up what Post-processing is and how it works.

you mean by hooking the shader cacher? yeah trust me kid, i understand better than you do. i also understand that it is specifically an issue with the SweetFX shaders who interfere with certain methods of ambient occlusion culling. come at me bro.

I haven't encountered any graphical bugs in this game using it. Others yes but not this.

The thing that's bad with the XV games and reshade or just this game in general in terms of visuals is the glare thing they seem to like so much which I don't get because even when you turn it off characters still have a white edge on their skin and clothing that never looks good.

Fallout 4 with no filter on it is super ugly. There are plenty of filters for that game that improve its visuals.

I prefer ENB over ReShade but ENB only works for the game's that the author creates a ENB for.
