Can you play the game normally without grinding?

I've never been a fan of grinding and doing sidequests, i didn't enjoy the grinding and sidequests of Xenoblade X at all, and i'm thinking of buying the game, but can i play the game in an enjoyable and not so challenging way without grinding at least too much?

1st playthrough - just story + masters and was 80 without problems
after finishing story you can get item to get double xp, after finishing just story + frieza I was 78 with it, so just few pq and 80 is there as well.
I think leveling is pretty friendly here, thought you might want to avoid expert mission untill they fix them

You have to do a bit of side-questing to get your chosen race's Awoken Form before you can progress in the story, but it isn't too difficult.

ya if u fight pq that are weaker then u with no challenge but weres the fun in that fighting some one stronger then u makes u stronger

YES and NO!

see you can beat a lot of things but plain and simple this is a grinding game like diablo and the like. if you do not grind you miss 90+% of the game.

its why i posted my rant post other day as the grind serves no purpose but to annoy you and keep you in game longer.

also reading that you did not like grind in xeno 1. its basically same set up again so take that how you wish.

RNG is so good in this game, usually I get all rewards from a pq 1st or 2nd try...way better than xenoverse 1

ooh yeah they nerfed RNG down to near 0. its also 100% to get ulti ending if you meet the requirment now rather than luck ontop of finish
