As far as stamina break not working on some ultimates I can only assume thats a bug. I took the melee super that functions as an instant break for situations like that.
Hilarious to do to people.
simmilar names of "Stamina break" and "Guard break" doesn't help matters for people that did not already know the difference.
Even I keep forgetting at times and try to use stamina breaks instead, oops.
He kicked my ass so hard I became a Fat Buu from a Saiyan, but then I beat him
It's pretty fun and one of the things I like about the game, even when it's done to me when I try to sit back and scumbag Ult Ki-blast enemies to death.
Just combos, and reliable supers and quick utility ults I can tag onto the knockback/knockdown portions of combos.
Shame some races have some ****ed follow up tracking for that, though. I can go hog wild with my Male Saiyan no problem. But there are assorted cases of follow up tracking fail on my attempts with Nameks, Freizas, and lady buus.
And I value consistently functional basic mechanics, more than I value optimized racial damage statistics and the like.
Shame, as I adored my Freiza in Xeno 1. But trying to play one now drives me CRAZY for how wonky their stuff feels for follow ups both teleport (oh... it put me on the ground 20 feet before where my target landed from the knockdown) and quick beams (oh... I'm aiming nowhere near a stationary target that I slammed into the ground).
