QQ bang "recipe" question
So I saw on a list of recipes that Android 16's top and Great Saiyaman's legs mixed in with a senzu beansprout gives a great qq bang. However, after many tries I haven't gotten it.

If it's this RNG based, should I try level 5 stuff? Or is it better to use that outfit since one of the possible outcomes is my desired QQ bang. Any help is appreciated, thanks

It's RNG based no matter what level you're looking for.

Ah, so what's all the "recipes" then if I may ask. If it's completely RNG based why bother making "recipes" at all

Well its up to you if you want to follow those recipes.

The recipes are how you get certain ones, but the outcome varies either way. The recipes give a higher chance to get the one you are looking for.

Is it possible to create new and better recipes from items you get from doing parallel quests?

yes

In most cases the game combines the stat of the equipment you use. 2 LVL5 cloth with the same stat will give the stat of that clothing ~80% of the time.

Thank you guys for the replies. So it would be best to continue using the given recipe then instead of trying level 5 gear?

"Best" in this case is subjective as hell. Is it 'best' to have the absolute min-maxed Bang you can get, or is it 'best' to save probably hours upon hours of grinding and just roll with a perfectly functional Bang?

In all likelihood a good middle ground is to simply use 2 of the SAME 5-star pieces that have basically the stat-spread you want, and get an easy "good enough" Bang, until you have built up enough resources to try for a more optimal +15/-9 variation. Time spent playing is almost always guaranteed to be more valuable than time spent playing lotto with the Bang RNG.

I see what you are saying, but it's kind of a more complicated matter than that. I want a melee saiyan with a qq bang that helps out with stamina, basic attack, and strike super, but no negative to ki, because if there's any negative to ki I'll have to use unecessary points to get ki up to get Super Saiyan 3.

In order to get that I found a recipe that gives -5 health, +0 ki, +5 stamina, +4 basic attack, and +4 strike super, as well as -2 ki blast super. That would be perfect for the character I'm trying to make.

And I know no regular person would care this much but I'm very competitive lol. Any further replies are appreciated.

In the event that you are willing to sacrifice Strike Super bonus, to preserve your SSJ3, you can make a starter bang for yourself from Whis Symbol Gi. The pool from this is basically -5 Health, Ki neutral, +5 Stamina, +5 Basic, Strike Neutral, Ki Blast -5. There's obviously room to improve off that, but it should be "functional".

That sounds really good, is it just any 2 pieces of Whis Symbol Gi? Should I get this combination within, say, 10 resets? I appreciate your example for a functioning qq bang, might try it.

Further replies are still and always will be appreciated.

Any 2 pieces are viable, yes.

I would ~like~ to say you should get something viable within 10 resets, if you're throwing bean-sprouts in, but I will not offer any guarantees what-so-ever. As with all non-15/15 Bangs, You might get what you want on the very first craft, or it might take more than 50. At the very least though, 4:5 are "in the right ballpark" from my experience with this spread, which is stable enough of a recipe imo.

Thank you a lot for your help Bullet, I finally got a great qq bang last night. I appreciate the time you've put into helping me, cheers!

That's great news! Happy the suggestion was helpful.
