Higher than SS3? (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE POSTING,ty. :))

Hey there all, I am still new to Xenoverse 2, and I am hoping that Saiyans will be allowed past SS3 and that other races will have some way implemented to keep up for the PVP'ers out there. But that’s what my concern is as well. Would allowing Saiyans to pass SS3 break the game? At first thought in my own opinion is, yes, it would. Not every race is actually capable of reaching a power level as a Saiyan that breaks the SS barrier. So would it be reasonable to empower the players with custom characters that can reach past the SS3 barrier? Thinking about how it would be unfair to other players who may not want to play Saiyan, or just how everyone may end up playing a Saiyan, it probably wouldn't be right to add it in. <- However if there is some way to allow other races to exceed normal barriers such as Kaioken maybe be specialized to humans?? Idk just brain storming because ----> I still would like to see players reach farther than SS3. BUT not if other players cannot have some way to fairly participate in the fun as well. <---- I’m hoping maybe there are some folks that agree with this? And there will be some that probably don't. But also if anyone knows of a vote or Poll that BANDAI NAMCO is having if they should allow this please let me know or post a like please. 8 ) Thank you and please try to be polite on your response if possible.

FSSJ doesn't seem to have any better ki regen than SSJ. It's boost is +15% stamina regen.

Not sure what you mean, Saiyans have some of the highest stats. Female saiyans even beating out female humans in terms of ki blast damage.

Female Saiyans beating out human females in ki blast damage is only true in Super Vegeta 2, and honestly they both pale in comparison to Frieza race Golden Form ki blasters.

No. Base form female saiyans have stronger ki blasts than female humans.

Frieza Race could have Full Power form or something like Cooler's 5th form with boosted basic attacks, strike supers, damage reduction and maybe a little speed decrease.

i would rather have them add more detail to exisiting things than tac on new things without substance, for instance when Buu powers up he blows steam out of his vents, he does not have an aura when charging, i'd rather have them include that for majin characters than adding extra transformations that are just incrementally stronger. The game doesn't need more features, what is already here needs more polish.

Good point. How about a form that not just goku or vegeta having? Excluding ss3

Yeah saiyans need more forms. They are DBZ they deserve it all. I honestly was dissapointed that after ALLLL this time we still cant be SSj4? Like yay finallySSj3...How long has ssj3 been out...its old...

Even if ssj4 and other transformations like the Greatape were added they could have the same stats as SSj3 and be just purely cosmetic. would be nice :( imo. And the ability to have a tail on my CaC! sDont get me wrong i love this game and all :D just feel like it could have alot more.

Arguably, that applies to Super Saiyan 2 as well - Only Goku, Gohan, Vegeta and DBS Future Trunks have achieved the form. Then there's Future Super Saiyan, which is relegated to Future Gohan and DBZ Future Trunks.

Heck, the argument can be made that the only Awoken Skill that isn't unique like that is good ol' Super Saiyan. Frieza is the only canon "Frost Demon" to acquire the Golden form - Cooler had something similar but it wasn't nearly as large of a boost (also, I believe it was mentioned that "Frost Demons" can determine the appearance of their forms at will - correct me if I'm wrong). Kinto'un and the Power Pole belonged to Goku, so Power Pole Pro falls under this "unique form" as well. Giant Namekians? Piccollo and Lord Slug only (although Grand Elder Super Kami Guru might actually be stuck in that form in addition to being ridiculously fat). Majins get the short end of the stick because canonically there wasn't a single one that technically could transform into Kid Buu at will like that - that was entirely due to Goku and Vegeta ripping everyone out of Buu.

Another thing I just thought about. This game runs it's textures in a peculiar way. All textures are pretty much greyscale and have an extra "layer" for the bruises. The colors are brought in thanks to another file that is specific to colors. As we know, Super saiyan gives the character a glassy golden hue because not only it changes the gloss values but also switches the color file to the super saiyan tone. Now, there's hundreds of outfits that cacs can use. Adding SSB could have two outcomes. One, They'd have to add in several hundred color files for the SSB effect. Or two, leave it like the PU transformation is. Just an aura without any color changes.

Adding a new transformation isn't an issue of power scaling. It's an issue of uniqueness. You'd have to figure out what something like SSJ4 actually DOES that's worth keeping around as something destinct from the other SSJs or even PU.

Though honestly I would fine with it being a reskin of PU as a 'full power but stable' transformation.
