Someone could explain me any truth in all that please ? and also how to play mods in xenoverse 2 with friends online if it's really possible ?
Thanks you for answer in advance, sorry for my broken english.

Although I'm not playing modded XV2 myself, here's a few pointers:
- If you're using mods, you cannot go to Online Lobbies. I mean, you can... but no one would see your mods nor be able to do anything if you load up something modded. You'll also have to bypass EAC - Google that if you want.
- You can only play with people that have the same mods as you have (I think). Otherwise there will be crashes, much like going online lobbies.
- This is only guessing, but in order to play with others with the same mods, you or the other person have to make a Lobby and invite you to that.

Someone that plays modded XV2 might help you more with that topic. That's all I know, sadly.

Two requirememts:
1. Both players (or all involved) have to have an EAC bypass active

2. All players involved need a common mod pack and data folder

That's basically it
What is exactly a EAC bypass ? it's a legal thing program or ? i'm confused and lost to be honestl. I dont know if i can play with my boyfriend with modded content in multiplayer.
it is legal ? i risk vac ban ? i need truth please :( i cant risk my account to get vac ban.

Not at all. I've been doing it for over a year and I haven't received any bans.

If you want an alternative method to be able to load online and launch the game through steam, here is the one i use:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/c1z5qame23lq3la/Start.exe?dl=0

Make a backup of the start.exe in your game folder and place this one instead.

This game has no vac bann system at all or a bann system if the eac catches a mod it will only stop the game from launching or disconnect you from the online servers thats all it does

Actually, you can see their mod because I just saw a dude with Super Saiyan 3 hair but it's blue color and glowing ssgss evolution aura. I went to his steam screenshot and he had a lot of screenshots of him with that hair but not transformed and a lot of other pictures that clearly showed he's modding. And obv I'm not modding so it would be weird for me to see that hair color.

The mod i use is a save edit to equip something that is in the game already, just not normally equipable. Custom add ons are another matter entirely

Took me almost 4 years to even consider using mods, now that ive got nothing else to do after having 100% the game for a couple years....i love em. Ive got so many mods its stupid, however i dont play online so ive got things most people would hate to fight me with :P However theres a few ways to get past the need to disable the EAC (easy anti cheat) however youll have to figure that out on your own.
Takii Dec 13, 2020 @ 7:09pm
Either way people are right theres no such thing as a ban in this game the only thing thats going to happen is the game will either crash or automatically disable them. At most, youll just have people pissed at you but who cares, its your game do whatever you want....just dont be a prick and try to cheat actual players.
