I watched the latest Broly movie, and so hyped to play anything dragon ball I hopped on regardless of knowing how terrible the netcode is. But the DLC characters are just cheap gimmicks, do not transform and are very lacking in content. Also their proportions are weird, why does jiren have chicken legs, why does this broly look so awful like roided out johnny test. But yeah charge it up, keep charging for any new content from the first game, the playerbase was never your interest in the first place. And if you could get past that, they didn't fix the netcode either, they just made ki blasts faster. Garbage.

Any returning players, or potential buyers should just turn away from this title. Sorry about my plssy rant but after 2 years and it's still just the same garbage never getting better, I feel an urge to help others avoid the buyer's remorse I feel. This game is ruining dragon ball for me

Why exactly do people want a character to transform anyway? CaCs makes sense, but the appeal of both blue gogeta and full power broly are those forms specifically. We've already seen what they look like.

When you see mine, you'll see why it matters . I am just saying, I spent hours working my way through issues and all that to get to this point where both need a little more touch ups . I will just make Broly FULL POWER LSSJ, A Seppi next to my Broly mod lol .

For example, Gogeta's Super Soul doesn't work .
And, I hope to see same results with Broly's new Transformation .
Gogeta needs a fixed intro, which I can fix easily .
Broly needs his own Super Soul *Custom Made* .

Those are the only issues *left* lmfao.

No but original broly was. But any new content not seen in xenoverse 1 is usually EXTRA money on top of the xenoverse 2 game.

It starts and ends with Netcode, Netcode, Netcode. Not having the ability to have smooth games online limits this game to only local, might as well have gotten console version so I can sit on the couch and play with friends then.

I would think by this point that there's been enough DLC to know exactly the type of content this game provides, to the point where people should know better, including yourself.

There were YouTube videos up online showing off Gogeta Blue and Super Broly before they were even available for purchase. When a new DLC patch hits people always mod the game files to make the DLC characters playable before they officially go live & upload videos of the DLC characters on YouTube. Not to mention anyone could just wait for them to go officially live and watch a YouTuber like Rhymestyle playing with the characters before you bought them.

Based on everything you've sense that you bought the pack. You shouldn't have buyer's remorse given you already knew what the previous DLC was like, not to mention could've watched videos on YouTube, so you shouldn't be upset with anyone but yourself.

You're not helping or doing anyone a favor, you're just venting. Don't try and pass it off as something different.

tl dr, only read a little bit. I didn't buy the DLC, I played against them though. They're still insanely lame. And I don't watch youtube a lot, let alone about video games so whatever videos you're talking about idk.

I do not understand why you are complaining about cast characters, when you only play CaC to begin with. As someone mentioned, with the exception of Cabba, no other DLC character has an Awoken skill. Awoken skills are honestly just for Buffs.

Netcode for PC is hard to fix, since the game is running on P2P you are gonna get some lag regardless. This is due to distance (which I am sure you are aware of) so complaining about an issue in this game that is present in many other (if not all Online Fighters) is futile.

When a sequel to a game is released, the sequel is not meant to be that much different in tearms of character roster and physics. Let's look at Injustice for instance. Injustice 2 is just like the first game except with improved physics, a few changes to mechanics and new story. Same goes for XV1 and XV2. I dare you to go back and try to play XV1 AFTER you played XV2 and then tell me honestly that they are the same game.

- Larger Hub World
- Increased Hub World Player limit.

Yea Story is a bit watered down and rehashed but that's to be expected when it's continuing EXACTLY where the 1st game left off. I honestly wonder if people who say this have truely played XV1 prior to XV2. You bought the game, you continued to play it knowing what to expect and then you come to the forum and nag (probably because you lost) and blame the devs for your bad experience. You are like the rage kids that go from Call of Duty to Counter Strike and then complain because no Prestige or Perks.

As for the modder.... No one cares about your mods. No one here wants them. Now if you could retexture the ENTIRE GAME using cell shading (Fighter Z styled) change the effects to look more Anime-ish I would eat my words, but until then, your just another Agwang.....

At this point I sincerely doubt they will fix the real major gameplay problems and even if they do it wouldn't be a in a DLC and honestly? They’ll most likely save the real revamps for XV3 (I mean... allegedly)

But regardless, this game has a lot of content to offer that can keep you entertained for a long time, unless your only concern is PVP and online this and online that in which case I don’t know what to tell you, but you can play and have fun for hours on end and have your money’s worth of content if it’s your first time playing the XV franchise I have no doubt about it

Full disclosure I do think the DLC’s are a rip off, Jiren and FP Broly do look terrible and none of the non-story/non-transformation DLC are worth the amount of money they charge for it, every Bandai fighter-style game is the same, and them all have dozens of worthless DLCs that are absurd overpriced and offer nothing of real value, but I don’t agree that first time players would be so disappointed, they’ll have hours and hours of gameplay before any of that start to actually bothering them I’d imagine. Again, if their concern is just the PVP then I GUESS, but otherwise there’s plenty to do

(I don’t care about most the online stuff personally, but I do wish at least the servers were merged with the PS and the chat would allow us to actually communicate with other players so the HUB wouldn’t be so DEAD and I could get ONE match EVER in the hero colosseum, but alas)
