You probably already looked at this, but prolonging it requires stamina. By any chance maybe you did it on low or no stamina? Only thing I can think of.
I didn't realize they would bug again if your fps was *too high*. Go figure.
That's probably because they tied the animation to the framerate, which is usually the WRONG way to do it, but japanese devs are very well known for doing this BS since a decade or so.
The first game too had many issues bound to the framerate, the first one I can think about was the kamiccolo z soul, which at an higher framerate would regen HP insanely fast.
Yes. As I said previously, even health regen was tied to framerate, but since stamina by defaul regens, you can clearly see the difference.
This is something bound to happening when you tie anything to the framerate, which is going to break awfully when you go lower or higher than what has been the game programmed to.
Also, strike skills are usually broken on higher framerate, because actions don't connect correctly (think about a move which make the character dash toward the enemy, deals some blows and dash again, this usually end badly).
While I don't face this issue, since I'm equipped with a 60hz monitor, I don't like the idea that when I'll upgrade, I will face eventually this, unless I cap the fps to 60, which well, with the screen tearing will be unbearable.
