Camo Bikini missing from shared inventory

I got the Camo Bikini chestpiece yesterday, then went to create a new (female) character. At this point, the chestpiece is still there in both of their inventories.
Later on, I deleted the second character and created a new one, when I went to this third character's equipment select screen, the chestpiece is missing. I checked the Equipment List and it says I have 0 Camo Bikini. I went to my first character to check, and the chestpiece is there and equippable, but is still missing from the Equipment List(it still says I have 0 Camo Bikini, even when unequipped). This effectively means that I can't equip it on any character I have other than my first.
Does anyone know why this is?

Unequip it from the CaC that is currently equipped with it, you can't have it equipped to multiple CaC's at the same time unless you have multiple copies of the outfit.

I think saving it as a preset can get around this limitation but I'm not 100% sure of this.

Saving as a preset counts as being equipped

(this was the main problem people had with Bojack's requirements)

Turns out it was because I had a preset saved with it on my first character. Cleared it out and now it's available for my oher character again.
