What I think based on how very prominent SSG is in the artworks and magazine scans for the movie. Obviously take it with a grain of salt like everything on the internet.

Actually, that's not true, the upcoming movie will be canon, as it is written by Toriyama himself.

still not canon unless it occurs in manga though, movies have a history of impacting time zones, its why revival of F is not canon but SSG and SSB are. they remade the movies into the episodes and manga to allow it to make sense,

case in point of time zone issues is gotenks being in fight yet absent in movie. clearly show takes precedent.
so until gogeta in show he still none canon.

not that it matters any gogeeta will always be weaker than vegeto. the debate showing goku lowers his power to match vegeta and gogeta beign mostly goku who is childlike vs vegto with mostly vegeta's sense of tactical planning clearly makes vegeto the superior fusion.

never get people caring for the super dance fusion even in SSJ4 is wicked cool and toryima likes ssj4.

i mean does no one remember saiyan pride at doing dumb ballet poses?

Pretty sure as long as toriyama says it's canon, it's canon. Ya know, he made dragon ball and everything. He kind of has that dictation of his characters and world.
