DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2

How I beat Expert Mission 15
A lot of people have had tons of problems with this EM, including myself. One broken controller later (almost two), I just now finished it for the first time with Z-rank and I thought I'd share it here for people to see.

I'm playing Xenoverse 2 on Xbox One. That's why you won't see it on my account lol. Also, I did this offline and with no other players and just AI helpers.

My CAC is a level 87 human male. For attributes, I have:

65 in Max Health
50 in Max Ki
50 in Max Stamina
84 in Basic Attacks
50 in Strike Supers
50 in Ki Blast Supers.

I went for a well-rounded build but decided to focus on max and basic attacks later on.

For clothes, I used all of Beerus'. Mostly for the ki blast damage boost. I didn't use a QQ Bang and my Super Soul is 'Hmm Hmm Hmmm! Hm Hmmm! Hmmm!' or however it goes. It's Old Kai's Super Soul. This Super Soul is like 75% to beating it. You can get it by going to Buu's house and giving food to the red Buus. I got it with giving lettuce iirc.

Here were the skills I used:

Super Attack: Super Guard
Super Attack: Fruit of the Tree of Might
Super Attack: Blaster Shell
Super Attack: Maximum Charge
Ultimate Attack: Energy Zone
Ultimate Attack: Justice Combination
Awoken Skill: Potential Unleashed
Evasive Skill: Hyper Movement

Super Guard is to protect you from those 2 ultimates they spam all the time that will mess you up. I ended up not using it to much because for reasons I'll detail below.

Fruit of the Tree of Might is to keep the healing effect from Old Kai's super soul going. The healing effect from the super soul is active for as long as your transformation and reinforcement skill is active. Fruit of the Tree of Might lasts for 30 seconds, which is actually pretty good. I was able to keep the healing effect active almost the entire fight and as a result the timer was a much bigger problem than staying alive (and keeping the rest of my team alive).

Blaster Shell was my main damage dealer. You can get it from having Broly as an instructor. Blaster Shell is very underrated in my opinion. Most people use Destructio-Disc in this EM but I had an easier time with BS than I did DD.

Maximum Charge is to get ki back as quick as possible. You'll be using a lot of ki with this method.

Energy Zone was for healing, but it went unused because Old Kai's SS + FTM + PU made health plentiful.

Justice Combination was used against Towa/Vegeta when Janemba knocks you into the other zones right before you finish him off. It was helpful enough for my AI helpers actually did most of the work against Towa.

Potential Unleashed is pretty obvious. It's the transformation for the SS's healthing effect to work, but also the 15% damage bonus and 5% damage reduction is helpful.

Hyper Movement was helpful to knock the enemy out of the blue sphere when they use the one ultimate that knocks your stamina out.

Anyways, with the setup, here's basically what I did:

The very moment the EM begins, I charge up my ki to full and go into PU. During the whole battle, I always make sure FTM is active so me and my allies are constantly healing. Make use of the burst limit if your allies health all gets low. Use Blaster Shell to do damage, and be aggressive. I had 7 or 8 ki bars, so I was able to really go hard once I was fully charged. Between spamming Blaster Shell, activating FTM, and going into Super Guard, you will have to stop to use Maximum Charge. That's fine. Use Maximum Charge when cutscenes are active so you're not wasting any time.

That's basically about it. The set up you use going into the battle is more important than what you do during the battle. Be constantly healing, be constantly spamming Blaster Shell, and charge up when you need to.

There's a lot of stuff that can happen during the EM, so sometimes you might just get screwed out of winning because of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It happens. Even with this setup you might have to try a few times. However, this is what worked for me. Old Kai's super soul plus PU plus Fruit of the Tree of Might was the biggest key to victory for me. After that it was just about trying to deal damage while making sure everybody is healing.

What you are using for the Expert Mission is the most ideal stuff to use, but you have only one simple problem, you are playing with the AI!!!!
The Ai helpers don´t do anything, if you notice you are the only one that does damage and they are just braindead, does not matter if you heal them or whatever.
My advice to you, ask a friend or do it online with other people.
Beating the mission offline is far easier than in co-op due to the absence of lag/latency.

D-Disc or Blaster Shell are decent damage dealers, but you don't need "Hmmm Hmm Hmmm" Soul or FTM.

Here's a quick run using a fun build.
