lol, can someone tell me why after 500+ hours of this game I never once realized you could use both inputs of this move at once?

I was always under the impression you could only use the blast or the blade version, but I didn't know you could use both on the same move.

If you time it right (which is super easy to) you can hit your opponent with the blast and then teleport into their launch path for the blade strike, topping 5-7K which is pretty decent.

But God, why didn't I realize it until now?? I'm such an idiot. xD

The last patch changed this. This is a very viable Strike now simply for the damage it dishes out (it was viable before as well), and a hefty buff to Goku Rosé.
Keep in mind this will cost 2 Ki if you use both variations!

As Battlefoxx said, it WASN'T able to do that until DLC 7. You had to do one or the other, now you can do both.
