Error 0x0000142 Cannot launch the game

Whats up with this? Do i have to delete everything in my data folder and do a clean install.

Its a shame, game was fun but I cannot seem to get it to work anymore.

You mentioned your data folder. Are you trying to use mods? Did the error message specify any untrusted system files?

Yeah, F:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DB Xenoverse 2\bin\xinput1_3.dll

I did use mods, but aftersome time of inactivity I got the itch to play the game again. I assume one of my mods set off the anticheat they added or something.

The xinput file sets it off. If you want to run the mods, you need to launch the game exe file from the bin folder as an administrator. Then your mods should work provided that they aren't out of date

Well, i tried that lol. Launches a black screen, my fps counter shows up in the top screen and after about 15 or so seconds it then closes and doesn't do anything futher. Damn, lol.

Same problem here, but when i start it up as admin in the bin folder, it starts it up on steam wnad won't work
