That one had a fairly comprehensive listing.
But too bad dimps doesn't even care about the PC community enough that these threads would ever be noticed by them.
Someone's gonna have to contact them directly, preferrably someone who can type in them fancy japanese moonrunes.
And even then who knows if they'll care enough to listen.
Like that famous comment on a certain game "The Empire was nice and lazy."
Being able to create characters that look like they're from Buttlord GT (like Takahashi)
ALL NEW CHARS do not need to run throguh the story again, and there shoudl be a buttion topress if we want to send a char to the story again. perhaps a sort of new game + wehre yo ustar at full power and the enemeies scale accordingly.
I remember Ultimate Tenkaichi on Xbox 360. It had a (very limited) cac and a story in a parallel world that while it used characters we know, it was so bland it was lackluster and easily forgettable.
The world of dragon ball is huge, and has the opportunity of making great stories without having to involve goku and co. But the writing must be as good and exciting as the original stories.
- Expand on Partner Customization:
- include all cast outfits (Gohan, Vegeta and Goku wearing Resurrection 'F' outfit)
- include more non-canon transformations (Golden Cooler, PU Future Gohan, SSJ Raditz)
- Add more DB Heroes content to the roster (Towa forms, Demon Realm Villains, Fusions)
-All skills are equal (this isn't a literal idea, obviously maximum > full power > energy charge, but I'd like for a nice balance between skills. A properly used Atomic Blast should do significantly more damage as part of a risk and reward mentality)
-Give HUB world engaging side stories:
- I think it'd be really cool if we had small story arcs as part of side stories like helping Xeno Trunks train to become stronger, ex-time patrollers that are trying to revive the demon realm, etc.
- Mentor quests being more interesting (this one I can understand being controversial since there's some convenience to just going to a mentor and a few minutes later having all 4 skills, but I feel the system just doesn't really feel memorable because of it. However, the dual ults system and Fu story missions definitely change this a lot. If those were integrated into the main game I think mentors would become much more important to XV3)
- Fix the story mode/unlocks across CaCs so it operates like XV1 (I know some people like redoing the story, I personally would rather not.)
Those are really the things that come to mind for me, hope that's not jarring to read. XV2 I'm mostly happy with already, I just think the gameplay experience could be reworked to make it feel more memorable. I'm definitely looking forward to XV3 whenever that comes out, thanks for starting the discussion with this question :)
More utility skills to flesh out roles beyond just, damage dealing monster. So more support skills, ability to teleport to allies, better taunts, ways to shield / protect your allies.
Expand on Expert Missions to actually make them require teamwork, and not just because the AI has cheese moves and a butt load of HP, actually interesting mechanics, but that might be stressing the engine a bit too much.
I'd love to see more roles appear in the game, true dedicated healers, controllers and such, and host Tournaments for Team Battles, not just 1v1 (might need a bigger map though because the world tournament stage is a bit too small for that).
Also, maybe in line with the talk on specialized classes, maybe different awoken skills that add passive effects to your supers and ults related to your specialized role? Something like that idk.
Without making something up, the Awoken Skills for the races that don't transform in the show/manga will always be sort of lame. They can't just go around making up new visual transformations for races that never had them to begin with. I think it would be better to leave transformations in the Saiyan/Frieza Clan camp, and move on and find something else that only Namekians can do, or Majins or Humans etc...
No matter what they do to try to appease fans who want cool new Awoken Skills that are just as good as what Saiyans get, without Toriyama designing a new transformation for Majins, you are always going to be let down by the visuals as it will only be minor changes, such as a change of aura. So why not focus in more on why people love those races instead of trying to ham fist in transformations the race never had to begin with?
