Finally quitting Xeno 2.
I love the game a whole lot and even gotten to know a few friends from here. But I can't play this game anymore for my 700 Hours ( well close to 700 ). I feel the amount of cheese base builds or the block spammers and dislike how this game gives people who P blocks or knows more cheese can just come out on top. While I who plays a Male Majin with a okay set, can't win even a far amount of games unless I use some moves ( That I won't enjoy or feels right against some players. ) Thanks for everyone who played against me and for letting me have fun or some form of enjoyment. It is how it is. Some players will go as far as the companies behind the games will allow them. If cheese is allowed, they will use it. If full cheating is allowed, so will they go to that. Sure, the cheating and cheese people may be a minority, but they are so loud and felt around that they make the whole community look like a salty bunch of cheese players. Dunno why isn't there a group of honest players or something like that. Maybe there are indeed too few of those to make a group. I don't know. I never did any pvp in this game.

Then again, 700 hours in one game is no small task. You DID play this game a lot, so maybe you are understandably burned and need to move on to something else. Hopefully you will get another awesome game to sink your free time in, in no time. maybe you already have. To that, even though I don't know you at all, wish you good gaming.

Thank you for the kindness. I was thinking I would have gotten a few messages making fun of me or giving me crap for quitting. Honestly it's just the cheese and boring way people fight is kind of putting me off from this game. I only use Male Majin and a few cast Characters like Mira and Towa. but I just feel the game has lost it's... Push for me.

I've been roaming these forums on and off for a while, and while I have never experienced it myself directly, at least not in this game, but yes in plenty of other games back in the 80's and 90's (where characters had even less ways to attack and defend in fighting games) I know well what you are talking about. It makes things repetitive and quite dull. And this is not helped by the game because the game itself lacks balance. Though then again, I fear that in the name of balance, the game would become another BT3 with copy paste stuff because the devs would lack enough creativity to make a balanced game with more than 4 skill types...

Anyway.... on the topic. Balanced or not, the players will try to find ways to make the most out of their characters to ease up their game play with what is available, be it against the CPU or against other players. And since what is available is unbalanced, you will find a lot of dubious tactics and cheesy strategies. This is made worse by the mentality of these players, who attribute their cheese wins to skill, when all they did was most likely replicate something they watched on a video...

I don't know if I've ever met you, but... bye, I guess. I feel you though if you're talking about there now going to be a period of content drought. Having burned through the DLC 6 stuff and now basically kidna sitting here in a "Now what" mentality, the only things to really keep tabs on are tournaments for title marks, raids for some swag, et cetera.

I've z-ranked just about everything possible TO Z-rank, and that was just for kicks since I knew there was no reward (outside of training school for PU.)

Cheese stuff I just managed to find workarounds to, for the most part.

Except latency. Can't really fix that.

The bad thing about any online play for any game is that a lot of players will always be more concerned with cheap/efficient wins/gameplay than actually having any fun. And they ruin the experience for everyone else.

That's the thing with communities like this, the corupted are like diseases, many of us started as good players. Now, we're just becoming cornered. Guess what, Dimps takes advantage of this, they create games will extremely expensive DLC and don't put in the effort to fix bugs that have always lingered in this game. Then Dimps comes out with a magical new game that woos everybody in, guess what, it's broken too, we wasted our money, and here comes an endless loop of this greed. We'll miss a good member of the community Captain

I would feel better if Dimps used xv1 netcode because everyone knows that's 1000000000000000000000000000000000 times better
