Partner customization not working

I want to use partner customization but every time i try it say "the system is not ready yet"
what is this and how can i fix it

Did you pick anyone as mentor? Have you done any training with any mentor to learn any of their skills? The system becomes available once you start at least taking classes, and opens up for only the mentors you have at least the first training session for. This is also character specific, so if you have a new alt, you have to unlock the mentors for him, regardless of having them unlocked on another character.

I took a lot of calsses from hit whis gohan....etc and i am super

....sigh* Another bug to toss into the bin then? Maybe I'm missing a step? The system should open up even if you only took a single class on a single mentor. Nothing from the paid DLC packs is required to activate it. Just a single lesson. Have you tried it on an alt?

Yeah. I know. I asked about an alt because the system is character specific. If you have an alt and the system works on it, then your main is bugged.

EDIT: Oh, and while we are at it. Have you used mods or a save editor now or in the past for that save file?

No mods but i used the save editor at the start of the game to get more clothes for my male saiyan

While I won't say the mod may have caused the bug, since I'm not a tech to know that, we can't rule it out either. Then again, this game has been bugging things on my end as well, like removing outfit pieces and skills from my characters, and sometimes forcing stat resets when going online for no reason, even before I used save editing to get me some cosmetics. SO I can dare say, this game is quite delicate..

I didnt use mods i just used the save editor at the start of the game to unlock some clothes because i didnt like the battle suit

And the game seems to tie a few things to what it finds in your save. And some of those things can derp. More if the save was edited. So it could have been that the game didn't tie your mentor completion with the Partner Customize system. Maybe, just maybe, going back to the save editor and either marking the mentors as non completed, then trying to complete one in game to see if it all activates.. But that's just an assumption.

No need for that. The save editor at xenoversemods has a mentors section. Just work with that. The rest of the save will remain untouched.

Oh, and I can't stress enough. DO make a backup of your saves.

Ok hold on, did you actually chose a mentor, or did you just train with everyone. You have to actually talk to them and make them your mentor who hands out in front of the school.
