Gifts for Android 18 and Videl Even More Expensive?

So all the other gifts up to now were 500 TP Medals, which is already pretty costly. Now that I can get 18 and Videl's gifts, I have to ask: Why do they cost more? 777 TP Medals to be exact! I already had enough to afford them (been farming TP Medals a lot) but I feel really bad for people that may not farm as much as I do for them (or want the Camo Bikini and Trendy Bikinis and weren't able to get them before from the Tournament or Raid missions.)

Yeah. Farming 3K TP medals would take a bit if you want at least a shot at those two outfits.

Im kinda betting they put these on regular rotation, or else im really SoL. Although the camo bikini is the only thing I missed from raids I think anyway.

Pretty sure we will see them again either on a set rotation or randomly. Hopefully it will be a rotation because random appearances usually favor one part while neglecting another.

They're really betting on people buying TP medals (on consoles) to speed the grind.
just can not abide the practice of giving up real world resources that one gains from real world work to avoid having to do too much busy work in a game.

I also suppose they are more expensive because these would be the most sought after items. Of all gifts, these are the ones that make females in game show more skin, and 'that' sells. Mostly in their home country.

You know youre right, and its not like its a huge problem but god it kinda feels trite after a while... but it is a game aimed at younger teenage boys so w/e. I Actually like her recoloured normal outfit more haha I just like the bikini tops for my character really lol like the frills on the bottom are cute but really theres no way to pair it with anything that doesnt just seem silly.

By the way, the internet exists if youre really that desperate for T&A, anyone. Better still, Pay artists to draw some for you ;P Completely not biased at all.

Agree on the part about preferring their normal outfits. I would have preferred if the first gifts were worth like 50-100 medals and just consisted on their already in-game alternate outfits, like 18's blue pants setup and such. These characters fighting in bikinis look just silly in my opinion. Well, anyone fighting in such outfits in any game feels silly....

Sillier still, anyone wanting to the the same for their male characters need only play the parallel quest to unlock the outfits normally or use the TP Medal Shop and buy one of the shirtless costumes and pair it with one of the Ginyu Force or Saiyan bottoms.
That focus on making it harder to unlock that type of gear for one gender makes it a little bit too obvious which gender is not only the intended audience but which one can more reliably be taken advantage of to squeeze a few more yen out of for that kind of cosmetic item.

First gift always gives them their alternate outfits. You can set them in the Partner Customization service. Subsequent gifts grant outfit pieces or accessories for your cac. The current gifts are all about bikinis.

If only I could invite them to be my partner in a volleyball game or a maritine race, it would be adorable to have matching outfits. Still, guys take their shirts off when they wanna act tough, so just wearing a bikini top is my characters equivalent XD

Damn, actually that would have been way better, just an option to put them in some CaC clothes.
