Missing Skills
Some of my skills are just gone. Straight up. I saved them some onto presets, and they do show up in battle, but when I go to change my equipment or skills, they're no longer there, and I can't use them. I have to fight with those presets, otherwise I can't use the skills at all. Skills missing are:

Divinity Unleashed
Divine Lasso
All of the DUAL skils I had
SSGSS

No, I'm not using another file or race, and I didn't mod. I used to, but ever since the update, I stopped, and I had no problems until this all suddenly happened, but I obtained these skills legitimetely. Now there's no way to get them back because Whis doesn't give me SSGSS anymore, and there's no way for me to get the DUAL skills again. Help me.

It's probably because you have them on presets. You literally took them out fo your inventory and equipped them onto a preset. Try taking them off your presets, see if it pops back into your inventory.

I don't think that's how presets work. I can still use other skills without them disappearing. Not only that, but all of my DUAL skills were not on presets, and yet they're still gone.

Oh yeah, I was thinking of items, not skills. In that case, I got nothing.

Welp. Thanks anyway

Hm, strange. I only lost the Zamasu moves that I had modded in. Unmodded moves should not vanish. However, I'd try to verify your game data via Steam, just in case that some files got corrupted when you stopped modding. Otherwise maybe do a clean re-install?

By any chance did you recently install/leave behind a patcher of some kind? If it doesn't include items for certain DLC's, then you will experience what you just described. Still being able to use them or see them in presets, but their being technically 'gone' from the game.

Other than that I don't know what could be going on.

Yup. Recently, the patcher for 1.09 came out, and I installed that. Then, the new mod installer came out, and I used that. I was too lazy to grind for skills in some PQs so I installed Shopaholic and my game crashed. Then I uninstalled shopaholic and reinstalled EAC. For a while, nothing seemed off and I couold still use my skills, but then all of a sudden I came back from a PQ and my skills were "gone". You hit the nail on the head.

Is there any fix for this?

Yeah so basically, at least what I did, was I had to delete my patcher and the input file from the bin so that basically my game is fresh and un-modded. All items, skills, and other features should return.

Well, as we speak, I'm reinstalling the game. I uninstalled it, and now I'm reinstalling it, will that fix it?

Probably. As long as any patcher you had used or left behind is either moved, renamed, or just deleted.

Okay, thanks. I'll come back when it's reinstalled. Thanks for your help.

Hope it works.

Yeah, it didn't work. Is that all you did? I deleted my patcher and the input file, but nothing changed. I think when it comes down to it, it might just be better if I just delete my data and start over.

This is why I always back up my save. Especially before attempting to do modding. Cause things like this is bound to happen, especially now.
Though starting over isnt entirely too bad since can buy levels now.
