Time Skip/Molotov?
Are there any requirements or prerequisites for using Time Skip or no, cause I can't seem to use it.

you need to be really,really, really close to use it, and have 5 ki bars to do a wooping 4k damage.

Aside from style points, it's a completely trash ult.

Its low damage for the ki use but it is useful tor ending basic strings if the opponent is guard broken and just resetting stamina when you land it.

And yes you need to be hyper close to use it. But there are ways to combo into it using vanish combos so that the opponent is sent flying into it... mitigating the range issue. I'll do a few demonstrations on its best application use tonight.

Its one of those ultimates where the are certainly better options but there are specific times it is useful

Couldn't think of a single instance where this would beat an Ultimate like Justice Combination or decent Strike Supers in terms of damage or utility.

I tested it last night. The only real perk is if you land it at the very end of an opponents' guard break because even if their stamina is reset, once the first punch of molotov lands the damage is guaranteed. But it's not worth if you use it any other time. Damage wise, the super attack time skip skills do better damage per ki bar used... and other strike ultimates are more flexible on timing with better damage.

On my test setup though, sledghammer can be fully charged in the same guard break combo and itll do more damage than 5 ki bars on molotov.

So theres an efficient way to utilize the ultimate... but its damage sucks too much to be more useful than alot of super attacks. I admit, i knew the damage was very low for ultimates, but didn't recall it was doing as little as 4300 in damage which is pretty bad considering i can do over 5k with sledghammer fully charged, and over 5.5k with perfect shot to 6k damage with my cacs at 0 points in their respective attack stats

It prevents Limit Breaking unless done just before getting hit, so that's a plus..?

Aside from guaranteed (but somewhat low) damage and style, as well as being a rather decent Break Ender, it's on the lower end of usefulness. It also has no Stamina Armor, so it won't work as a surprise counter either.

its not a trash ult its jut it takes skill to really use it right meaning to land it and get good dmage from it try comcing in to it ending combo with stamina break hevey and then following up with the ult its really good som eppl have bad times with it my self in cluded there buch of ults ppl reddeem as bad some true some not true

Sorry to pop your bubble but is trash period, 5 ki bars for only 4k damage is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unacceptable, just because you can land it in some viable way doesn't make it good, like at all.
at the end the damage is garbage for the amount of ki and preparation you need just to land it, just stick with justice combination and call it a day, way easier to land, faster, and only 3 ki bars.

Super Black Kameha Rose does less raw damage than it's normal variation for 5 ki bars vs 3. So Molotov isn't alone in it's schtick with damage. It's just a question of whether the benefitting finisher status to maximize damage makes the low damage worth it, and there are better alternatives that work the same way. I.E. Darkness rush is used in a similar manner but has better damage if you're trying to use an ultimate that can't be LB'd or evasived once the first hit connects. The 4k damage is with no stats in strikes, but only awoken hit really gets any benefit on the damage for it

SBKR and SBK actually do the same damage (I've tested this), but the main difference between the two is that SBK can always be rolled out of as long as your opponent is not stamina broken. SBKR, however, for two extra bars, cannot be rolled out of, similar to Serious Bomb. Besides, that's still at least 9K damage. So that's a poor comparison. SBKR is way easier to use, does more damage, and hits way more often than Molotov.

For reference, a twice pure progress fully awoken hit with mentor custom stats set for higher strikes than even the original roster hit: the max damage doesn't even hit 8K. It's still a garbage move. The only way it does more damage is with Hit's super soul's limit break, which doubles its damage, but even then that's super niche and pracitcally useless.

During the small setup time for Time Skip/Molotov, you could also land 2 heavy hits and follow up with Justice combination as your break ender.

Assuming an opponent can't Limit Break anymore, I would consider thisnthe better option.

2x Heavy + JC would probably outdamage TS/M even if your opponent Z-vanishes JC's last hit.

Well anyone who's saying it's useless move, ♥♥♥♥ move and it only deals 4k damage...well it's a good move, if it hits...for cac I never tired the damage rate but if you're using hit and are in his 3rd stance{using pure progress 2 times} it deals Whooping 15k damage, I find it pretty usefull in completing pq which are higher than 5stars...it ends them pretty quick

The thread was made previous to the update that buffed it dramatically. Before said update it was doing barely 7k damage on awoken hits pure progress and that was considered pretty solid at the time. But nothing compared to now
