Confirmed: Super Buu's Super Soul "I'm stronger than ever now!" perfectly counters SSGSS's ki drain
That is all. You can go back to complaining about SSGSS now.

What's the Super Soul effect?

At max stamina, you get ki regen. At max ki, you get stamina regen.

Also Divinity Unleashed should do the trick, no?

I'm doing fine with SSB and cabba's soul. Makes my basic attack fe-saiyan even more viable for the current PVE damage sponges we are getting in the new PQs.

Divinity Unleashed is temporary. This Super Soul's ki regen, provided you can maintain max stamina, will constantly increase your ki, even with SSGSS.

I'm not saying this is ideal. I recall someone was asking about this specific Super Soul when used in combination with SSGSS, but I can't be bothered to wade through all the whining to find the right thread.

Yeah. I stated that because some people think that ki drain is the end of the world. Guess they never used PU in XV1.

I actually used PU instead of SS in XV1. Paired it with Elder Kai's Z-Soul to counter the ki drain, boom, endless transformed state. In short, I was using XV2-style transformations before XV2 came out.

I remember using it for a while. Felt like a good fit for human males, at the time having the highest basic attack in the game. IF I remember correctly, under PU, skills still used their regular ki, unlike SS which prevented skills from spending it. Though that was long ago and my memory gets sketchy at times. If it was that way, it's not too different from what we get now with SSB.

I actually switched away from this SS to use 17s instead because using Blue youll never be at max ki, but if you wanted to go back and forth from normal to regen stamina and then blue it could still be effective. Just felt like with 17s i was getting more bang for my buck, + DU makes it trivial either way.

You can do it for just one ki bar while you send an opponent flying to renew its effects. No big deal and you don't lose the boost from your favorite super soul.
