I would know since I have God Punisher, Gigantic Roar, Gigantic Rage, Meditation, Power Rush, and so on.
I even got Revenge Death Ball and Kelfa's Ult from DLC 7. and the RNG on those are irritating too.
So far from what I know, is that in order to have any sort of chance to get these moves; you'll most def need a KI spammer character, and preferably some friends to do it with.
I unlocked most of these abilities using my Frieza Race along with the Piccolo Variation that contains "I'm neither Kami nor Piccolo"
"Oh but see you have to cheese to get these moves"-Yeah, but what do you expect? These missions are FULL of artificial difficulty. So many of these missions involve babysitting these pillow throwing NPC's....
Granted, I've sunk about 450+ hours into Xenoverse 2.. .so I would probably count as one of those guys who has "thousands of hours to waste" but if the game frustrates you... just take a break and try it again another time. I've certainly reached my fair share of breaking points, and just turned it off and played something else.
And No... I'm not Defending RNG. I'm just simply telling how I worked with it.
The broly one... havent solod that so far. But it gets a lot easier of you have someone who agrees to stay behind. Broly will stay with THEM and then you can go ham on the rest of the mission.
122 is a pure damage sluggish. But STILL not as bad as ones like 132 where the finish condition breaks if an AI loses health. Ones like 122 can be done with any build provided it fits your play style AND gets the damage done
And one that is applicable to any game.
Unfortunately, while some people are lucky, others are not. That's the nature of the beast.
I do have a ki build character. Male saiyan (since he's my only lv 90 and above character) with 100 in ki supers, a QQ bang that is five in ki supers. and his super attacks are:
-Phantom Fist
-Rise To Action
-Maximum Charge
-Fighting Pose G
Ults:
-Emperor's Death Beam
-Reverse Mabakusenko
He has 7 bars of ki.
Yeah, I have been using a "cheese" build, and I still have troubles all the time.
But you wanna know the main reason I hate the RNG? Here's the story.
You know that parallel quest with Super Black Kamehameha Rose? Well, I was having trouble on it, I tried about 7 times. THEN, my dad tries it, and on HIS FIRST TRY, he got it.
I suspect the one and only reason is lazy padding of play time. Why spend time and money making good content that's fun when you can use a randomizer to artificially delay player progress then brag about all that "player engagement" at the next shareholder meeting and still charge 8 dollars per pack?
RNG isn't here for our benefit, but theirs. Getting us to pay more for less.
That some people get lucky actually feeds into the system, causing the community to waste time arguing with each other over the merits of a bad system instead of turning our ire against the companies that simply want to exploit us for maximum profit at minimal effort.
That is quite the conspiracy theory you have there lol.
Yeah, I like to call it "pattern recognition."
