As lazy as you can get, and dont get me wrong, I love this game and thats why it piss me off with no end, this game could be so much more, but Dimps its to fking lazy to do it.
They didn't originally have tails for Saiyans. When they did add them, they were static clip-ons instead of using the animated ones they already had.
Armor for Saiyan characters who had tails keep the tails as part of the armor (Nappa, Raditz, Turles, ect) which makes it look weird when, say, a Freeza Clan member wears it and have a tail clipping through their tail.
Crystal Raids require a lousy farm just to get in, you don't get to decide who gets to be the boss so slotting boss only moves is a bad idea. Plus, from what I hear, being the boss = just get beat up by 5 people really fast.
Rather than give us a salon or something to alter our character's look conveniently, we have to hunt down 7 obnoxious drops. We previously had to do the same to level up without grinding, but then they added an NPC that lets us pay Zeni and TP medals to skip that, but not a Capsule Corp barber or something. There's also no feature for our mentor or something to respec our bonus attributes through "training" or whatever.
They slapped on a set-and-forget anti-cheat program that so far has only been good for preventing cosmetic mod usage because from what I heard, it sure hasn't done anything to stop cheating.
In many missions, the action is interrupted by brief cutscenes of characters coming, going, or transforming. Why they thought this was a good idea, and why they thought it was an even better idea to spam it in some missions is beyond me.
They also thought it was a great idea for enemies to become invincible occasionally and still be allowed to beat on you just so dialogue can play, with no ability to skip it. Should have just made it a separate cutscene since they already love interrupting the action for those.
They decided it was a great idea to split regular Super Saiyan into 3 different transformations while giving every other race just one seemingly for no other reason than to let us mimic different poses from the show when transforming. Any mechanical reason to split them up kinda became moot when they decided to throw in SS Blue on top of that and have it be flat out better than the rest.*
Perhaps most baffling of all is Hero Colosseum. Why in the world they thought Xenoverse specifically needed its own self-contained gacha game is something I can only wonder at. If the goal was to get us to buy TP medals, maybe they should have remembered to include the ability to buy TP medals cause that's not in the PC version, but we still got HC. Not that I approve of any of that, but I mean if they're going to try and nickle and dime us, you'd think they'd at least include the part that actually gets them money.
And they didn't include a feature to either tone down or shut off Bulma's endless announcements (but the radio announcement featuring Kale and Caulifla apparently only plays once.)
* I should point out that the issue of the Saiyans having way too many transformations is a problem in the source material as well. If the game is guilty of anything here, it's adhering to the show too religiously in this regard. If there's any consistency in their random decision making, it's they clearly think as long as they toss in some fanservice, we'll buy it and that's all that matters.
