Waste of a character slot though lmao. Who the hell even asked for Ribrianne?? People would rather see the detail of the character that this one had for others that could have been chosen. People have been wanting DB characters for an incredibly long time yet they just keep giving us DBZ and DBS, even GT over DB. For how much of a multiverse this game is meant to be there's an amazing lack of DB characters and character arks.
A. They can't fly, and the game heavily focuses on flight, I think they even say every character will fly now (that's from Dragon Ball Z or later), and obviously, Dragon Ball was when Goku was a kid and couldn't fly, and always rode the Flying Nimbus / Kintoun. (Hercule is the only exception to this)
B. The game seems to focus more on Dragon Ball Z, GT, and Super more than the original Dragon Ball. They focus on Super with characters like Goku Black and the Blue-haired Future Trunks are going to be playable (Black through preorder and Blue Trunks through DLC), so technically, if you still hate Super, you won't be forced to play as these characters. Also, it focuses on a bit on GT with the return the GT Kid Goku.
Personally I think ribrianne is a fairly unique character, it doesn't hurt to have someone like her over beam/ball of death character.
She`s actually REAL popular with the japanese, so there you go.
Couldn't both Piccolos fly?
