Why is Metal Cooler revived by the Dragon Balls in the Resurrection F Saga

I find rather odd that Metal Cooler is revived by the Dragon Balls and not Cooler's 5th form, seeing as reviving Metal Cooler is essentailly reviving a clone of Cooler. In the Return of Cooler DBZ movie the Metal Coolers are mass produced cyborg clones created by the Big Gete Star and are not Cooler's real body, which is basicly just a head.

If Cooler was revived by the Dragon Balls wouldn't Coolers be revived in his original body and be in a Golden Form like Frieza, seeing as the Metal Cooler isn't a transformation due to it requiring the Big Gete Star to achieve.

Because they didn't have a design that matched Gold Frieza aesthetically, I'd assume. So they picked the closest thing to Gold Frieza they had available. Frieza is gold, Metal Cooler is either silver or platinum.

A platinum Cooler would have made more sense (and would have looked much cool... eh), but again, I assume they didn't have the time or lacked something else (like artistic permissions) to create a new Cooler model or tweak an existing one and make it into an extra character just like Gold Frieza.

I meant more as a retexture and possible changes in the model, in the same vein that Golden Frieza's pattern is not the exact same as his Final Form. For Cooler, they would have needed to design him in a way that looked more like gold Frieza while still maintaining some of his own, albeit limited individuality.
