Joining Frieza or Cooler? Rewards?

I joined Cooler last time but I was wondering do you get anything aside from Golden Form? IE Costumes and such?

No, it does not matter.

If you join Cooler, you train with Cooler. If you join Frieza, I presume you train with him. But the end result isn't very different aside from how the NPCs react to you. The achievement for completing the quests is even the same for both paths, and is worded under the assumption that you joined Frieza.

I know this is too late but in case someone stumbles upon this later, pick Frieza so that you still get the armour pieces as rewards for the missions. Cooler doesn't give you anything. I learned this the hard way so between my 3 characters I only have 2 of the "Battle Suit (Ginyu Force)" (the colourable Tagoma Style one).

Why would you even side with Cooler? Frieza is a much more fleshed out character. Cooler basically just makes a couple of cameos.

Although the one story mission with Cooler in it is probably the best story mission because of the music that plays while you kill wave after wave of Coolers. THe counter could have been set to 50 and it still would have been a great mission. Maybe even better for it.

Originally, I did it on my first alt just to see what his missions were like since you can only experience one set of those missions... Won't be picking Cooler again.

It's worth to choose each one at least once (same with Zarbon and Dodoria) because they give you different clothes and super souls upon completing their stuff.
But aside from that it really dosen't matter.

The stuff each character gives counts for your item completion stat, so if you have some alts around, you can pick whoever you have not chosen on your previous character at least once to get that part done.

Honestly I wish we just got Cooler's final form as a transformation for joining cooler
