Just pummel him into the ground with basic combos. I though the worst was his second one. You're supposed to kill him with the back counter but that stupid a-hole never attacked my friggin back >:(
Srsly, 2nd worst mission right after expert 15 which is hell, literally.

Yeah would have been nice if he had done that, he just never used it despite having full stamina the whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time. Took me an hour or so and several retries till he finally attacked my back.

Same took me three runs at his back attack before I got him to stop teleporting above me and then popping down in front. Taking the fight to the ceiling of the arena helped but it still took forever.

His final was pretty rough but not nearly as infuriating and only took one try. Bastard is still tougher than just about any story battle. It's a little bizarre really as no other trainer really puts up a proper fight in their missions.

Better question: Why is Hit's last lesson about an evasive move?

This should've been a move that you have a chance of obtaining from 101-103 PQs and not a final move that you learn. Every mentor in both games always taught you either an ultimate or a transformation as a final move.

Pure Progress would've been perfect final lesson to learn from Hit since everyone could've learnt it. I'm somewhat :steamsalty: about this decicion.

Agreed. It's an attack that targets right behind you, but you can't just turn around to use it, and when he is behind you, he's probably already got you in a combo so you can't use the technique. I'm not sure how anyone manages to beat it. :steamsalty: is right.

I believe Pure Progress is a Hit exclusive thing. Also, his final lesson is what it is because we already had his Ultimate..... Unless you wanted Dipms to include his super cheap and OP time sphere.

I think you may have missed my point a bit. I was unclear there somewhat so let me clarify:

My argument is about that if they lacked an ultimate to give you as a last lesson, why didn't they make Pure Progress as an all race skill? It is not exactly Hit-only exlusive ability to progress. He could've taught you so well that you began to progress quickly as well, therefore learn it as an awakening.

In a game where we lack transformations and awoken skills in the first place, it would've been perfect to add. They just added Super Saiyan Blue to Saiyans, so now it would've been even more perfect and fair to other races.

If damage would've been an issue, then edit it to be different from Hit's Pure Progress. All race Potential Unleashed is different version from Gohan's Potential Unleashed after all.

I hope this cleared any confusion about what I meant in the first place.

I do agree we lack awoken skills for the rest of the races, but I always thought, perceived, that Hit's Pure Progress was something exclusive to himself, sort of like how Frieza is apparently the only of his race who can get really powerful with very little training. A genius as some call him. I always thought Hit was the same thing. That without trying, he'd just get better and better at an extremely fast rate just by fighting strong opponents right there on the spot. And Pure Progress was the game's way to accommodate this.

As for, PU I see it as a skill that can be taught to everyone because of it's nature. Since it is nothing but giving you all of your own power to use. Nothing greater and you don't need to be a super special fighter like Hit or Frieza to achieve it.

Now, your view about giving PP to the cac could be valid if we take into account all the comments from mentors and other NPCs about your character. Whis even mentions that the player cac has more natural talent than Goku and Vegeta, which is why he feels the cac doesn't need as much training as those two. Sure, could be flavor text to make you feel good, but the comments repeat among other trainers and NPCs. Your cac is pretty much special in some way.

But again, we DO need more awoken skills for the other races. They missed an opportunity with UI. Which seems like something more feasible to give to all races.

Back to Hit, if they had planned properly, they could have reserved his ultimate for when he was available as a mentor. They could have also upgraded it's power a bit too....
