New Mod Tools Released (Edit Auras, NPC Skills, & More)
Just thought I'd post these for anyone who's interested. All info about how to install them, what they can do, etc, can be found in the mod descrption(s) or in the comments.

The first mod tool will allow you to edit just about anything...

https://xenoversemods.com/mods/xv2lib-tool-library/

AGD Editor - allows you to edit the agd file to change how level experience and attributes are gained.

All in Shop Patch - patches the idb files to put all items, costumes and skills in shop. this patcher is update proof so when a update happens just run the patcher again to have the stuff back in the shops.

CMS Editor - Helps with edting and adding Characters.

CSO Editor - used to edit sound data

CUS Editor- edit characters skill sets and edit skills

MSG Editor - edit the message files

PSC Editor - edits the stats of characters.

XV2ListGenerator - produces a lists from using XV2 own files. works with future updates.

XV2ListGeneratorCSV - produces a lists in CSV format which are compatible with spreadsheet type programs. works with future updates.

The second one is simpler allowing you to edit the auras and skill sets of characters. For example you can easily swap Cell's green aura for a Super Saiyan one. You can even give characters Awoken Skills like Kaioken, or Potential Unleashed, or give Super Buu or Fat Buu the ability to turn into Kid Buu. If the empty skill slots that so many costumes have bug you, you can add whatever moves you think should be in those blank slots.

https://xenoversemods.com/mods/dbxv2-tool/

Note that adding the Super Saiyan transformation/skill to characters who don't have the correct hair and texture files to properly use it will result in them having lots of black textures applied to their body since the game is trying to load textures that aren't there.

Obviously don't use these if you plan to play PVP.

are characters with modified skillsets still selectable in co-op pve? there's a few characters whose movesets I'd like to spice up, namely ones missing moves that could fit in their skillset.

If you're hosting the game I would imagine you'd be able to select them still. It could also end up crashing or getting stuck in an infinite load.

Oh yeah forgot that the install instructions aren't that great for either of them.

Basically what you do is...

- Put the aura_setting.aur in your DBXenoVerse2/data/system folder
- Put all other files other than the exe in the data folder
- Put the exe in the in main XenoVerse2 folder
- Run the exe
- Choose Open Aur/Cus File (depending on which your doing)
- Make the changes you want to make
- Choose "Set Skill/Aura"
- Choose Save Aur/Cus File

That should be it. I get an "126" error when starting up the exe but after I hit Ok a few times it eventually starts working.

I had to add a custom_skill.cus file to my system folder in order to edit the skills as I didn't have one in there.

I use this custom skill file as it fills in all the missing moves quite nicely however note that I've found that certain characters who have the Awoken Skill "Supervillian: Giant" which is basically the evil power that Towa gives characters causes problems with certain characters when they are set as your opponent in things like VS, Training, etc. For instance if you select Goku Black it works fine, but if you set Black as you opponent the game gets caught in an infinite load so if you or whoever uses this file I suggest disabling/removing that skill from Black. He's the only character that I know of that causes the infinite load 100% of the the time if he's chosen as your opponent.

Anyways, despite that problem it's a good custom skill file to work off of as a template if you're wanting to fill in all the moves for characters.

Hey Teaspoon, thanks for the reminder. This is way more user friendly than hex editing every time.

Is there any tool that allows you to add items to your inventory? I just want to get the Jenemba sword. I did everything I was suppose to and never got it.

The Shopaholic mod will unlock all items and make them purchasable in the shops. So if you install that mod the Janemba sword will be available to buy in the accessories shop.

You can delete the most from your mods folder if you don't want to buy any of the other items that the mod unlocks or want to set the shops back to the way they were.
