Belive it or not, Full Power Energy Wave is very good in this game, so keep it on hand. If you use it as a combo finisher it acts like DIE DIE Missile Barrage.
Yea he means the Full Power Energy Blast Volley, Funny thing is when you kick/punch your opponent away and combo that move the blasts start homing. Makes for some sick combo fiend combo's if they all land.
But the Full Power Energy Wave isnt as weak as you make it seem to be.
It does a reasonable ammount of damage for a 3 bar blast.
I actually switched out the x4 Kaioken Kamehameha for the Full Power Energy Wave.
When you hit someone full with the x4 Kaioken Kamehameha (after the extra input which makes it 4 bars) you do around the same damage (or just a bit more) then with the Full Power Energy Wave i believe.
As he said for blast volley. Its actually the fact that you can combo and stun your opponent in it that's valuable throughout the game which makes it one of the best overall beginning ultimates. Havent tried the other skill as yet... but one general rule i use is if it activates slow you gotta wait for a stam break for full effect.
I usually combo my attacks into a ki or strike finisher that acts fast and sometimes accounts for more complicated scenarios where the opponent avoids my back hits.
