I lost my save data!!!
So I installed Steam on another PC and downloaded XV2 on it, then it seemed fine this afternoon (got data from my steam cloud saw all my characters etc.)

When I brought my second laptop home and loaded XV2 on it, it wiped my data (something to do with being on the same network and the stream/play feature) and now all my data is gone, as in it's like I just installed the game on both PC's.

Now I'm stuck without my game data, what do I do? Can I recover my lost data?

Also I tried deleting the XV2 save file, but whatever it's downloading from the cloud I think is the overwritten one without any characters or saves :(

Bump, any help would be appreciated, I had basically 100% completion on my previous save (including almost all of the moves, clothes, accessories) and it would be really sad if I can't recover it...

Tried deleting local save files, tried trying to restore previous versions of it, nothing's working, so I think steam cloud saved over my actual game file on the cloud.

You can try contact Bandai, Dimps or QLOC. I think QLOC are handling the PC port so you should probably adress that issue with them and they may help you. Either way I don't know how to help with the Steam Cloud.

Ugh that seems more trouble than it's worth, knowing their response time.

Guess it's either restart or stop playing the game :/

Your call, partner. I gave you options.. It's up to you to decide.

Yeah thanks I appreciate it, just seems like the amount of effort and time I would spend contacting them for the chance to restore my save file would take more than if I just restarted from scratch, unless there was a way to re-roll my cloud save on steam.
