Error Code 22 Upon Launch

Just bought the game on sale and for some reason I get an Error Code 22 when I launch it. Specifically, it says "Launch Error. Game client encountered an application error. (Error Code 22). So I did some searching around on the internet and forums but haven't had much luck.

I've repaired/reinstalled EasyAntiCheat through the setup. I've verified game intregrity and uninstalled/reinstalled the game. All drivers are up to date as well. Not sure what else to try here but any help is welcome!

I have Windows 10 and it's up to date.
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz, 4001 Mhz, 4 Core(s).
16GB of RAM
Geforce GTX 970

Theres not much you can do other than go through steams trouble shoot and or try and figure out if something on your end is keeping it from running

make sure OS and drivers are updated.

1- update windows with all the latest updates and restart your pc.

2- After restarting open up properties of DBZ xv2, click local files and then browse local files.

Open Common Redist file.

Open Vc Redist File

Open 2015 file

3- Here you will find the two files Vc Redist x64 and Vc Redist x86. Open each one and click repair.

4- Restart your pc and you should be good to go.

If none of these work

Try temp disable any anti virus.

Either a firewall might be keeping it from lauching.


Sometimes it is the most simple things that keep a game from running
lol it took me a few mins to figure out my anti virus was keeping witcher 3 from fully installing.

very fun game i hope u get it working i quit it cuz i am not a pvper so not really anything to do anymore for me is some other updates coming when ever they put it on pc that is lol
