EAC updated
Guys, I think Bandai updated this freaking EAC, because If the .dll isn't present in the EAC folder, the game will not start anymore... I use mods, I don't play online (so laggy for me), but if I put it again, all my mods will be gone...
Any solution?

Unfortunately the only way i can play with my mods is to download a pirate copy. Proly try fitgirls repacks. It worked for me. Just make sure that absolutely nothing else is running while you install or the repacker will give errors. Its bs that after spending real money we hve to resort to this just to play with texture and visual mods. But it is what it is.

You didn't pay real money for those extra mods, that was never included. I understand your grief I too used textures and saiyan hair but to repeat myself you never paid for them.

If you DID pay for them hopefully it was a donation to support them otherwise you got cooned lol

remove the dll and start from the game folder instead of from steam

One person who had no actual information said that, Dimps/Bandai don't care, they see all mods as hacking their incomplete game and don't like that....Either way if they did "update" the game so you can't play without the EAC at all, they've really sunk to a new low...

Check the eternity website where his goodbye thread is. They claim that bandai us was under one impression but the main japanese branch had a more hardline stance against modding the content of the game. Not entirely sure how much of their dialogue is accurate but they apparently reached out at one point or another

Eternity's leave is sad by itself, but I recall only seeing people commenting that one guy posted on twitter about cosmetic mods being ok...I still find it rather funny that Dimps/Bandai would go so nutty over mods when they used mods themselves in their own screenshots...Still doesn't help that even if bandai JP wanted to completely axe modding, they could have and should have put characters and skills/transformations in the game that were known well before the game was finished...Either way per OP, not sure what you did differently man but I just ran the game fine with the eac file outside of the eac folder. Gotta remember to not delete anything, just move that one file outside the eac folder.

Which mods did they use in their own screenshots?

Commentary I have seen on the twitter topic itself was about reshader at the very least, something that is also cut off by the EAC as I understand it.

it was the official Bandai Namco twitter account.

it's stuff like this that irritates me on stingy devs. if they really get so antsy on mods in their games they oughta spend more time on development and listen more to what people wanna see in their games. it makes sense why Eternity said he/she wasn't interested in supporting any of their games at the moment. :steambored:

It doesnt strike me as stingy what they did. Badly implemented for modders wanting to have fun rather than cheating, yes perhaps. But there was a severe cheater problem nonetheless and it was happening through modded game files and real time memory editing. EAC was implemented to prevent both from being altered to stop uses of modded stat boosters. Peaceful modders got caught in the cross fire because the method for non-exploitive mods was the same means through which the abuse was carried through.
