I had this problem with Teleporting Vanishing Ball for a very long time.
Sometimes the character who drops it and when isn't always clear (I've heard TVB drops from Gotenks, not Kid Buu for some reason), but most of the time the problem is pure dumb luck.
In the few runs I did against since I posted this earlier, I FINALLY got them. Both in one go, which was indeed random.
It just said a skill dropped, and then after the battle I saw it was both.
I'm trying the exact same one now and it's already running the same course as with those from Super 17, only this PQ is slightly more annoying, so I hear you. ;-;7
Not wild about having to do a mission where I have to protect guys who go down in two hits over and over.
Also thank the Heavens I got lucky the last time I did Extreme Malice and actually got Blue Hurricane. I don't even intend to use it on anyone. I'm just glad to know I literally don't need Extreme Malice for anything ever again.
Yeah, the relief of getting those skill acquistions over and done with is immense. It's just a pity that it's such a troll fest with some of them despite the improved RNG over the first game.
On the bright side, at least it's not RNG on top of RNG anymore where the bonus would sometimes not activate even if all conditions are met time and again.
I honestly forgot about that. That was awful in the first game.
Games need to stop using RNG in dumb places.
Yeah, RNG is one of the worst things to ever exist, especially if perseverence means nothing in the face of endless grinding.
