Skills not Dropping
I've been going on a skill farming spree through all the PQs, from the highest difficulty ones to the lowest. Usually every skill drops in a handful of runs, but for the life of me, Drain Field and Flash Bomber from Super 17's simply won't.

I've been getting an Ultimate Finish with the bonus Supervillain Mode Super 17 killed possibly more than 20 times now, but neither of the two skills are dropping at all.

What more am I to do?

Honestly, just keep trying. It really is just RNG nonsense. Sometimes they seem to drop after a few tries, and other times they take dozens upon dozens of try.

I had this problem with Teleporting Vanishing Ball for a very long time.

Sometimes the character who drops it and when isn't always clear (I've heard TVB drops from Gotenks, not Kid Buu for some reason), but most of the time the problem is pure dumb luck.

took me a few months to get Mystic Flash. Neat move tho
Thanks, guys. ^^

In the few runs I did against since I posted this earlier, I FINALLY got them. Both in one go, which was indeed random.

It just said a skill dropped, and then after the battle I saw it was both.

Yeah the messages are a bit spotty like that. Especially if it dropped from the very last opponent or something.

I still haven't gotten Victory Rush after trying countless amounts of times since the release of the game.

I'm trying the exact same one now and it's already running the same course as with those from Super 17, only this PQ is slightly more annoying, so I hear you. ;-;7

A few days ago I thought "I might want Candy Beam on my Majin." Then I saw what PQ it was on and was like "...maybe I don't want it after all."

Not wild about having to do a mission where I have to protect guys who go down in two hits over and over.

Also thank the Heavens I got lucky the last time I did Extreme Malice and actually got Blue Hurricane. I don't even intend to use it on anyone. I'm just glad to know I literally don't need Extreme Malice for anything ever again.

Yeah, the relief of getting those skill acquistions over and done with is immense. It's just a pity that it's such a troll fest with some of them despite the improved RNG over the first game.

On the bright side, at least it's not RNG on top of RNG anymore where the bonus would sometimes not activate even if all conditions are met time and again.

I honestly forgot about that. That was awful in the first game.

Games need to stop using RNG in dumb places.

Yeah, RNG is one of the worst things to ever exist, especially if perseverence means nothing in the face of endless grinding.
