Don't be a lowbob.
A lowbob is someone who takes all of the cheesiest, and easiest abilities on the game to make the game as easy as possible for themselves.

These people are weak, and cancerous, and are the death of games with poor balancing.

I should say also.. .What do these people gain? I mean.. What do you actually get out of taking the path of least resistance? Where is the challenge in being a complete cheeseball?? It is like winning in the olympics, but you used a special robot suit that did all of the work for you.. Big deal.

Some people just have no integrity. They're so afraid of losing that they just can't resist the cheese. The best players win with the worst abilities.

Essentially yeah

Welcome newcomer. Here at Steam, following the rules is our number one concern.

This thread is hilarious.

That's the thread we need, but not the thread we deserve.

Is it wrong to be pissed off at someone who abuses certain skills with invincibility frames in JUST THE RIGHT places? I mean, it's the way they play, I get it. They play how they want. However, when that way of playing pisses you off because it's the ONLY way they play, is it wrong to be that way? I'm the kind of guy who switches up his moveset every so often so I can make use of various skills, some of which people don't even use at all. Sure, I may use some cheap moves, but really, that's when I'm making a video with a certain moveset, so I don't do so that often. Hell, a lot of the times, the skills I choose may put me at a tactical disadvantage as well as a combat disadvantage overall. I've seen people use Backflip in a way that's just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying, and it rather pisses me off when people abuse skills like that. It's like it's their crutch...

Sometimes (well I do it all the time for giggles too) I body change those cheapo's if i get the chance before they KO me. Then use the sets on them :x

Its the games fault and fans that support its sloppy development. Xeno 3 will be basically the same, likely.

Game can't get itself into shape with all the fan bloat put into it and going to keep getting put into it.

But can I be Spongebob?
I tend to try and not be "That Guy" unless I am purposly trolling you. I normally choose skills like (Kamehameha, Super Dragon Fist, Galic Gun, Sledge Hammer, Ki Blast Thrust, Dynamite Kick, Super Kamehameha, Full Power Energy Blast Volly, Burst Rush) My Troll Set However [use it for punk ass Hit Players] (Energy Wave Combo, Super God Fist, Rise to Action, Fake Death)

I make it a point to not cheese people unless you are one of the following:
-Block Spamming (trying to fish for Perfect blocks)
-Backflip Spamming (Hit Hit BACKFLIP! Run away!)
-Running Away (hit & run players)
-Someone that will not stop spamming challanges, so I force you to leave me alone!

I'll try to stay as neutral as I can about the more "OP" or "cancerous" tactics here in XB2. Heck, maybe I should write a guide or something... it gets slightly annoying to tell this over and over again. ^^'

- Step Vanish Spamming might seem like a "no cost, no counter" move, when infact it isn't. Step Vanishing causes your Stamina Recovery to stop until you cease to use it. The best counter? If you don't have full stamina, land on the ground, get stamina back, then attack. You'll have a Stamina Advantage over your opponent, regardless if he hits or not. Lead with Ki Balls to make extra sure you hit something, or "poke" with attacks (Light or, als Female Majin, Heavy -> Ki Ball -> Step away) to force a panic vanish.

- Countering OP moves like Punisher Drive and Aura Slide (or Super Falcon Punch- I mean, Super God Fist) requires patience. While you cannot do much when you're being combo'd, you can prevent getting hit by those as an opener. Play safer, and try to Step -> Guard towards your enemy to see what he's doing. If he misses a Super God Fist (or hits your guard), you have a small window of time to hit back. If someone uses those moves in a combo, you'll need to know when your opponent tends to use it in a combo. Often enough, snapping after the 3rd or 4th attack makes them whiff the Super. It's not an optimal counter, but at least it costs them resources and a follow-up. And aside from Aura Slide, most of those moves, while fast and annoying to get hit by, don't hit nearly as hard as similar options.
"But they can follow up!" Yes, and you regain stamina while being hit. Tank some hits as much as possible, and use your stamina wisely.

- Backflip is one of those weird Supers much like Fake Death that people really seem to hate. Just don't rush into those. Backflip can be somewhat countered with a timed Ki Ball (if they Perfect Block, at least you lose no Stamina). Fake Death can be Perfect Blocked for free Ki and Stamina Loss for your opponent.

- Block Spamming has three counters which I find reliable: Don't attack immediately and delay an attack (worst case, you hit a normal guard), step-grab, or Step -> Sidestep, then attack. Charging attacks can be a great mix-up, but don't be obvious with that.

- If someone runs away, either equip a soul that forces them to play aggressive (hello "Neither Kami nor Piccolo" or "The real hell begins here") or use every bit of time to gain stamina, then attack. Alternatively, go for a time-out win.

Just my two cents on playing against, uh, common tactics.
