It can connect and the end of a combo that smashes your oppoent downward at a high place. (50-50 chance of hitting).

Also if you use it against an NPC and they block it (probably because they aren't targeting you and they block everything you do when they aren't targeting you) The additional input will deal damage through the block.

Right but I was implying a specific scenario in which just throwing it would cause at least an AI opponent to block it

I found it to be a bit slow with sub-par tracking, I can see it being useful for a helpless opponent or as Iamcorn stated an AI who isn't focused on you.

slow? subpar tracking? what the hell are you saying. I have hit this thing while the opponent was being knocked away. Its probably the most reliable and fastest ki ult in the game. and for 3 bars the damage is top notch.

No its really not, Its inaccurate, Not combo friendly, Slow for how small the blast is, I will literally use it 4 times at the end of 4 combos and it hits on luck. Doesnt matter if it's a light or heavy combo either, it rarely hits. Legit most usless ultimate in the game
