DOnt use Addede characters online Comestic is ok
Just got around to it, and it did indeed help me understand things a lot better. Unfortunately, it would seem that I need a different method of installation for a certain Mod i'm trying to use (All characters and stages) It's quite the bugger because I've noticed that a lot of these Mods, not just this one, require different ways of installation. There isn't just one clear cut way to installing them all, that's what irk's me.
Modding is well worth it if you're competent in how to do so.
There's pretty much three clear cut ways of installation as far as Xenoverse 2 goes:
METHOD 1 - UNPACK AND REPACK - Not recommended, as this is the most "convoluted" of all methods, and takes a bit of care and know-how. I never use this method, as it simply is not required when there are superior and easier methods described below.
METHOD 2 - DBXV2 PATCHER - There is a great video on the main page of Xenoversemods.com that explains how to do this method. But in short, it involves downloading "the Patcher", placing those patcher files within your DBXV2 game installation folder, then creating a "Data" folder. Once you have the "Data" folder, it is as simple as placing the appropriate mods within that folder, simple drag-n-drop. As long as your interior folder structure is correct (for example, modifying SSJ hair requires that you place those files within Data-->chara-->HUM folder structure), then you're smokin aces.
METHOD 3 - DBXV2 X2M INSTALLER - This method is specifically for "X2M" files, which are nothing more than additional custom character files. Things like "Gohan SSJ4", or "Absalon Goku" fall into this category. There are actually a great selection of canon characters in this category too, ones that were not included in DBXV2 by default. Anyway, to use this method, you simply acquire the X2M Installer, run it, select an X2M File (which you would download from its respective mod page), select "Install" and bam, the character is now added to your game, either as a new slot or appending an original slot, depending on your personal preference. You can also easily uninstall X2M characters via the same X2M Installer program. In greater detail, this method basically works behind the scenes by doing the METHOD 2 part for you, but modifying the same specific "custom skill" resource files, rather than overwriting them as a simple drag-n-drop would do.
Now, to your specific mods:
I was personally unable and uninterested in getting the "All Stages and Characters" mod working. I honestly only gave it a cursory glance, before I knew much more about how the DBXV2 mods work. Could probably get it running just fine now, I'll take a look and see if I can't help you.
Shopaholic is one of those very simply METHOD 2 mods, just drag-n-drop and everything will be purchaseable. You might not have established the proper file structure if your mod isn't working. Make sure you have it installed as per the Readme/Mod page's instructions.
Lastly, modding isn't always for everyone. Some people prefer vanilla, some struggle with figuring out how to alter a game and give up. It is definitely WORTH the struggle and the reward, as who would argue that they don't want to improve a game given the opportunity? Every game that has ever had a mod has benefited from its existence and its optional improvement to the game's structure. I hope the breakdown above helps you in figuring out how to mod and how to enjoy it! If you need help, let me know.
Personally, I thoroughly enjoy my setup:
-- Unique custom SSJ1-3 Male and Female Hair and Auras that nobody else has
-- All clothing parts entirely colorable
-- Custom particle effects, animations, and camera pans on Supers and Ultimates
-- "Timebreaker"/Raid versions of some characters to test myself agains solo, 1v1
EDIT: Just read your post from a few minutes ago. Apparently we were writing at roughly the same time. Anyway, the majority of these mods DO work. There are a couple that have issues due to the recent DLC update (primarily BCS mods, which required a small BCS update to not have the new clothes appear invisible). Forcing the game offline always worked for me when setting it to do so within the config. I'm trying to be understanding, I am just having a hard time grasping where you're going wrong when I have been modding this game since launch with only a few issues (primarily of my own doing, like trying to see if I can get some DBXV1 mods to work in 2 without updating them).
If you could give the exact link to each mod you're trying to get working, I can tell you HOW to get it working, which may help you figure out what you're doing wrong.
did a video on how to install mods.,

if it helped you let me know.
So here I go:
Shopaholic - For this particular Mod, I'm pretty sure that the only error in it was the file placement, as mentioned before. Most likely, this was 100% an error on my end, because I did not set up "System, Item" and move the files in the download folder, into the ones I had just created. I assumed it did not have to be done, because both files are named the same thing but evidently, I was wrong.
All characters and stages - As said before, my only issue on this was getting the stages to pop-up. Which strangely, did not happen until after I deleted the Skinny Majin mod from my PC. After that, everything was a go. Call it a hunch, but I think having old mods may mess with the patcher config settings. Because my "offline mode" setting also started working after I deleted it.
Character installer - There were three errors with this, two on my end. The ones on my end are that I forgot to install the 32bit Java, and I didn't extract flex into my C drive, both steps that are vital in getting this to work. I also moved mxmlc into my XV2 folder for quicker navigation, which was a big no no. The third error is that the installer refused to work period, until after I removed the Skinny Majin mod from my data folder, and eventually from my PC for good. After doing all of that, the installer works like it should and SSJ Rose Black Goku is now on my game, with more characters to come.
Once again, big thanks to everyone that commented, and I hope my notes here might help somebody else one day. Peace out.
Nothing illegal, just used to cut the "wait for the correct weekend/event" for "X item" crap.
The FreizaSuit (perfect) looks REALLY GOOD on females! Gorgeous.
Had mine with purple hair/grey skin so it was even better.
If you get "illegal skills" though, at least keep these in coop/raids only. Pretty please?
