Super Attack: Super Explosive Wave

Am i the only one who thinks this attack is way to ki consuming for its power and output?

I think it is a very nice attack, The damage on it is decent and the casttime is superb..
The only thing holding me back from using it is the idiotic 2 ki bar cost.

Like i said the damage is decent, But compare it to the x10 Kamehameha and that for 2 ki bars does a hell of a lot more damage.
Even the Earth Splitting Galick Gun and the Kaioken Kamehameha do more damage for the same cost of 2 bars.
Heck even some 1 ki bar supers do more damage. BBK anyone? xD

Anyways i think its cost should be reduced to 1 ki bar, I reckon it would see a lot more play if that were to happen.

Yea I was almost certain that in some patch notes somewhere that skill was supposed to be lowered to 1 Ki barhell I would rather use Masenko over that skill

If you are sarcastic and mean that its usefullness is 0, Then i agree lol.

BBK is clearly more powerfull, even the normal Kamehameha (fully charged) comes reasonbly close to the Super Explosive Wave in damage if you hit your enemy fully. both are 1 ki bar attacks.

So at this point there are alot of better options then the Super Explosive Wave for less cost.
Which is a shame because the Super Explosive Wave is the fastest super ki blast available and would be very usefull in alot of situations IF its cost was reduced.

So you are only talking about the damage output I assume you incline more on pve then this move is not for u.

Even though the move costs two bars ki u cant deny the fact that it has fast startup/ending you can either use it in mid/finishing combo or just spam it since it wont leave u wide open and plus the wave speed is very fast.

It has same function as masenko the only difference is SEW has wider wave and that makes u have better chance to land on ur opponent. Overall SEV is a pvp move, its mobility for sure is worth 2 bars ki.

Decent damage + little / no setup needed + non-punishable = worth 2 bars of Ki.

You can use the backflip to trick people into facetanking you, as the flip has invincibility frames, unlike masenko. Definitely worth 2 bars.

If you both put it that way of the PVP perspective i can see your point, And yea i should have addressed that i meant in PVE.

From a PVE perspective 2 bars is to much and other attacks that are cheaper in cost are better options like BBK.
